Wait, Sookie is ending? I didn't know that. I have a theory since I read the last book. (view spoiler)

No woman NEEDS a man, but just because you're strong and independent doesn't mean you don't want to love and be loved. So I hope she gets somebody. I'm okay with the secret spoiler. Although I don't know why it's a spoiler since it's just your opinion, Vanessa! Well - unless you spoke to Ms. Harris or something ;)

This was much better than I expected it to be. I didn't love Logan in the other books but man, I'm liking him now!!

Just finished

@ Audrey - I really enjoyed American Vampire. I thought the hero was hilarious. A very different take on vamps. It made me want to explore her other books.

Read Night Huntress with my sis and SIL. They both skipped the Spade and Mencheres books and then ended up not liking book #5 so much. I tried to warn them! The Night Huntress World books made me love Spade and Mencheres. I know exactly what you mean about not being sure if I liked Denise or not. But overall, I love the men and the women tend to annoy me. Even some of Cat's decisions make me angry with her.

The first one was pretty decent, by the time I got to the second though I was through with her whining and repeating over and over that shes such a badass, I'm about 90% through and I'm not sure if I can force myself to finish

EXACTLY

I bought this book because it was for sale for Kindle and I have never read it because of the cover. You have convinced me to check it out.

Lynsay Sands was my first adult PNR. I still love her and look forward to her Argeneau books.

I really liked the first one, Afterlight, but the 2nd was a major disappointment!!

Now that I just started watching True Blood (almost done with the first season) I think it even more.

lol, no. I just am careful not to allude to things because some people may not have read the entire series. Having just finished it myself, I mean.

I'm also 3/4 of the way through

how is this series? It's the only Gena series I haven't read. Avoided it because it's YA. Also, I didn't read the YA spin-offs from the Alien Huntress series either. Anyone knows if those are worth the read?

Reading

Audiobook, of course needing my Roarke fix, always,

In Death series is blowing up all over these forums. All I hear is Roarke this, Roarke that! I'll have to try to incorporate some of those after I finish my monthly challenge reads!

The Amazon review said "An erotically charged, addictive thriller from the future queen of suspense."
Meh!
The characters have developed as the story's gone and now at 90% of the book I'm kinda rooting for Clay, but it'll be over soon so I don't think I'm going to be satisfied with the ending. The next in the series is about a completely different set of characters, which I think I'm going to be irritated about. I think I prefer to see a whole story develop around the main hero/ine as the series goes along.
Ah well.

The Amazon ..."
I tried reading this book, and like yourself I like to try and finish a book, but I found the book just didn't pull me in the story. And as usual I brought 3 off the books in a deal, so they are still sitting on my self.
