I loved Rio too. His book was especially touching, exciting and what a plot!

Christina (bookcrussh) | 40 comments Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye. The book follows the story of Pecola Lovebreed, an African American girl who prays that her eyes will turn blue. The story is set about 60 years or so in the past.

I'm reading this story for an AP course that I will be taking next school year.

The Bluest Eye is my favorite Novella of all time!

It was my favorite so far! I had to make myself to put it down and go to sleep, esp the 2nd half of the book. I am starting Magic Slays, and so sad it is over till 2012 after this. Curran definatley shot to my top 3 after Magic Strikes... Hope you like it as much as I did!

Pansy, if I know your taste, you'll love this one. You won't regret it and the best part, the next book is coming out in August, woohoo.
