Now I'm reading Frostbound (The Dark Forgotten, #4) by Sharon Ashwood , which I got from the publisher before it was released but just now getting to it. So far I like it better than the other 3 in the series...

Have you read DG's Lord John series? I have been told they will help with Jamie Withdrawal. The newest one that's out soon, is from both Lord John and Jamie's POV. I'm not a John fan, that keeps putting me off picking them up. But if the withdrawal hits too bad, I'm heading straight to the Lord John train.

I'm the same with the Hollows. I've read until book 5. Seems like every book, I just get frustrated with, and keep looking forward to it ending. I've heard that Pale Demon is a five star, but who wants to wait until book 9 or whatever to get to a good one? I think I'll wait to finish the series once the last book is written. At least then I'll have some conclusions.

Thing is, I say that after every book, and I keep going back to the series. Just something about it that makes me want to keep reading...Maybe my need for Rachel and Trent's HEA?

i'm enjoying the books, just for some reason I just wasn't feeling it atm. I love the intensity Rachel puts herself into and the arguments, and what not... what I don't like it the vampires making her feel dumb on stuff she does.

I have got past that part and I don't really mind her getting with Nathaniel, I figured that would happen eventually but I do see your point with Damien. That seemed kind of pointless to me, something that could have not happened at all-- I mean she had already re-made their connection, so to speak, so no, I didn't see the point of it at all.

I agree. The sex isn't bad but like this one I feel, as you said, the action that we had in the first few books, with the murders and such isn't there anymore.
