After that rollercoaster I need some good old fashioned smut so I am starting

Have "Beyond Control" and Sookie 5 on the backburner : )"
Are you talking about the Sookie Stackhouse series loved them! The show on HBO is really good too. The secend season started yesterday.

Did you think it was a little confusing at the begining people say they cant get into it. I thought it was really good...wish she put a sequal but it dont really need one.

I loved The Host. SM announced that it will be part of a trilogy. The Soul & The Seeker (Book 2 & 3) will be published next year.
i am currently reading "midnight sun" by stephenie meyer. the book is nt releasd yet bt its partial draft (upto 12th chapter) is available in stephenie meyer's official website. Its edward's view of "twilight". its nice to knw his side. bt those who dnt believe in luv dnt read it.

you;re welcome and I completely agree with you there.

From reading the first chapter, I definitely think that Ethan will come charging back right when the situation with the house gets to the worst. The dreams sound like they are him trying to send Merit a message.

how come?

Yeah, the first time I read, it was my first time reading outside of PNR genre. I wasn't sure about suspense romance bc someone always died...only the bad guys died in PNR and all the good guys are super hot, right? Anywho, I gave it only 4 stars, but after I listened to the audiobook again, I loved it so much more so now it's 5 stars. Shame on me...

I've been so wanting to sink my teeth into IAD. I just discovered Meljean Brook, so I'm reading the rest of her books while vacationin in Chicago for the month July.

Lucky you, enjoy Deeper than Midnight! haven't hear of the other series but will ck if my library has it.

Riding the Storm. I am starting it this week :D

How did you like GA Aiken? And wow, you already have Chasin Eight? my library just got me Raising Kane...8 miles...can't complaint.

...darn it, my library doesn't have this series AND Magnus Pack. At least I have Pride.

Succubus Blues
Pride by Shelly Laurenston
Dragon Kin by G.A. Aiken
The Gaurdians by Meljean Brook
...so many books so little time. Where should I even start?

Oh yes, Ms. Cole has provided in the good old fashioned smut department. I'll take "Orgasms within the first 30 pages" for $300, Alex.

I am up to book 5 of the Guardians series by Meljean Brook. Demon forged. I really like the world and the characters in this series but it requires a bit of perseverance as her style of writing is quite intricate. I find it requires concentration to keep it all straight in my head. I'll be interested to see what you think.

I like them, I do prefer her Magnus & Pride series but it's still good. I love that they're funny, I LOL constantly.
Yeah, already reading Chasin' Eight .. and it's really good! I like LJ books, but haven't thought they're great but this one ... it's REALLY good so far .. and I haven't even gotten to a steamy scene.

Lindsay, lol, Ms. Cole & Singh are my next big series.
Lisa, intricate is the perfect word for M.Brook. I couldn't think of another writer with such complex world but along with that she had me emotionally attached to her characters.
Magda, so excited, can't wait for CE. Kane's book is ok, not as torn as Chase/Trevor/Edgard, Cord and Keelie's...but I'm only half way done.

Never read any of her writing but wanted to say your post made me laugh out loud! And I just moved IAD up about 400+ spots on my TBR list. ^_^

:OOOOOOO noooze!! dont take a break!! To really get into the vampire academy series you got to read them straight through. trust meh!! they get more amazing as they go along!!!!

Okay, you KNOW how much of a Shelly Laurenston fan I am. But DON'T read the Pride series without first reading the Magnus Pack series. Laurenston ties both series in together with her characters.(Similar to KMM's Highlander & Fever series only even more so than KMM). Trust me, you won't regret it. They'll all make you lol, the Pride series even more so ;)
Once you've finished her Pride series you should read her Long Island Coven series. The Magnus & Pride series characters carry over (only less so) into this one also.
I've pasted the link to her website listing her series below. I own all her books so let me know if ya want me to sent ya any if your library doesn't have them. As you know, I'm always happy to share with ya ;)
Take care my friend & enjoy your trip!!!!

right now I'm reading succubus on top (Richelle Mead, book 2, Gorgina Kincaid series)
I also goinig to read Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews, I heard a lot of good things about this series :D

The series definatley gets better as you go. Book #4 and #5 I could not put down!

Good to know. That's pretty much what I heard from everyone who has read the series. I'll stick to it then... :)
