Yeah, the first time I read, it was my first time reading outside of PNR genre. I wasn't sure about suspense romance bc someone always died...only the bad guys died in PNR and all the good guys are super hot, right? Anywho, I gave it only 4 stars, but after I listened to the audiobook again, I loved it so much more so now it's 5 stars. Shame on me...

Taken By Fire (ACRO, #6) by Sydney Croft is a Sydney Croft aka Larissa Ione series. It is Psy-fi and very good. It is on the border of erotic but the plot is great. This is the last book of the series. You should check it out. I love psy-fi and this has the X-Men vibe.Great primary and secondary stories.I think you would like it. Put on your TBR.I cannot remember what the first book title is but you should find it on the GR. Just look up ACRO series.

Oh yes, Ms. Cole has provided in the good old fashioned smut department. I'll take "Orgasms within the first 30 pages" for $300, Alex.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) | 407 comments Crazy4more, start with the Succubus books. I absolutely love this series, the last book is out beginning of September.
I am up to book 5 of the Guardians series by Meljean Brook. Demon forged. I really like the world and the characters in this series but it requires a bit of perseverance as her style of writing is quite intricate. I find it requires concentration to keep it all straight in my head. I'll be interested to see what you think.

I like them, I do prefer her Magnus & Pride series but it's still good. I love that they're funny, I LOL constantly.

Yeah, already reading Chasin' Eight .. and it's really good! I like LJ books, but haven't thought they're great but this one ... it's REALLY good so far .. and I haven't even gotten to a steamy scene.

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Thanks friends!

Lindsay, lol, Ms. Cole & Singh are my next big series.

Lisa, intricate is the perfect word for M.Brook. I couldn't think of another writer with such complex world but along with that she had me emotionally attached to her characters.

Magda, so excited, can't wait for CE. Kane's book is ok, not as torn as Chase/Trevor/Edgard, Cord and Keelie's...but I'm only half way done.

Okay, you KNOW how much of a Shelly Laurenston fan I am. But DON'T read the Pride series without first reading the Magnus Pack series. Laurenston ties both series in together with her characters.(Similar to KMM's Highlander & Fever series only even more so than KMM). Trust me, you won't regret it. They'll all make you lol, the Pride series even more so ;)
Once you've finished her Pride series you should read her Long Island Coven series. The Magnus & Pride series characters carry over (only less so) into this one also.
I've pasted the link to her website listing her series below. I own all her books so let me know if ya want me to sent ya any if your library doesn't have them. As you know, I'm always happy to share with ya ;)
Take care my friend & enjoy your trip!!!!

Angelika (maarryna) just finished the immortals series and I have to admit that I didn't like the last 3 books at all, they were kinda dull and you had the feeling of turning in a circle (I don't know how to explain ist right), but i like the way Alyson Noel writes :D

right now I'm reading succubus on top (Richelle Mead, book 2, Gorgina Kincaid series)

I also goinig to read Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews, I heard a lot of good things about this series :D
