What are you reading right now?

I'm with you on that one! Yay to starting Silver Borne. =]

The most recent I heard is that Quinn/Blay will have a novella because of the sensitive subject matter, and some fans being upset about it, she didn't want those it would bother to miss out on the story line. I also hear there will be a Mary/Rhage and a Wrath/Beth novella

Barrons *sigh* enjoy!

I think you are right! Its funny because at the beginning of both of those series, I didn't like either one, but now they are my favs!

Completely understand. They are both equally delicious in their own ways.
Katie, Barrons is one of the main characters from the Fever series by KMM.

The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning. The first is: Darkfever

The bad English doesn't sound good to me either. I'm having a hard time with the Goon Squad, I don't even have a desire to pick it up, I'm trying really hard not to pick up the next Sookie book cause I know that I wont read the Goon Squad. I just feel like I'm being lectured about stealing and how piracy is bad and I haven't even finished chapter two yet!
Btw is your profile pic of you and Ian? If so I am waaaaay jealous!

Are these two series by Gordon and Ilona tied together the same way Highlander and Fever are by KMM? If so, are they husband and wife that they write about the same world in two different series? Is one better read before the other? Also what is the contest? It's on facebook? Is it over? haha sorry for all the questions! =)

This one is just a small bit about the Brown Siblings. I like the conflict in the background from the first book where the parents are having trouble accepting things.
I'm really kinda disapointed in the cover I saw for the new book. Compared to the amazing tat graphics on the other covers this one looked kinda lame.

LOL... in

I've only read the first of this series and it moved a little too slow for my taste. I'm glad to hear some of the other books are good.

I just finished Savage Nature by Christine Feehan, it's one of her leopard people series books. I love her writing style, and although this did, somewhat remind me of her Carpathian books, I still enjoyed reading it. The 'hero' was really easy to 'fall in love' with. The sex scenes were wonderfully written without being 'dirty' so to speak? This is the first of her leopard books I've read, so I need to go find the others and get up to speed.
I also just finished a book by an author I never heard of, it's called "Kindred Spirits; Book One; An Unexpected Love" by Roger Delray. I wasn't sure about a male written romance, but I'm glad I went ahead and tried this. It's a vampire romance about a man who's wife (soul-mate) is murdered. After her death he turns to drinking and fighting and ends up getting turned to a vampire. He now spends every lifetime searching for her soul when it's re-born into a new body. Anyway, this story tells of the time he found her in the 1800's, it's a surprisingly great read! And not your typical vampire story. I always look for longer books since I love to read so much and this one has around 600 pages. From the looks of the author site, there's a 2nd one coming.

Yes It is :) That was such a great day. Sorry to make you Jealous. ;)

I think she's going to milk the struggle btwn Blay&Qhuinn as long as possible. I ached for these three, something about their writing had me yearn for more and more.

I am totally on the Barrons band-wagon, now. I was from the beginning of Dreamfever. People tell me it's worth it to keep reading, so I will.
With all this talk of Bones and Barrons, I think Night Huntress is going on my list, what is the first book?

I can pick, btwn these two, Bones! He's funny, sexy, smart, passionate. Yes, Barrons has these characters too, but maybe the lovestory btwn Barrons and Mac drove me crazy. Whereas Bones just had everything lined up for him perfectly. Plus he had Cat who played her role perfectly too. That being said, no disrespect to Ms.Moning bc she's one of my favorite authors but Barrons and Mac did drive me crazy on and off.

Halfway to the Grave is the first one. This is one of my favorite series.
I think I am one of the very few who did not love Barrons.

I like the way you think.

I'm almost 80% through

Granted, I didn't LOVE

Bones gets better with each book, much better.
Things with Cat/Bones heat up in book 2 & everything gets much better. Plus, you get the added bonus of Vlad.
I wasn't crazy over Darkfever, I gave it 3 stars, and thought Barrons sounded like an overbearing, manipulative, and old stalker. Obviously, I've changed my mind, but it didn't happen until book 3 or 4.

That's awesome, he's such a steamy guy. Way sexier in Vampire Diaries than he was in Lost, I like him better with the dark hair and the tortured soul. That's really cool that you got to meet him. =)

Let me know what you think of "Afterlife", Aimie!!! I'm sure we're not the only two people who were unhappy with the ending of "Hourglass".

I thought about rereading all of Midnight Breed before the book comes out. I cannot wait. I have been rereading Shelly Laurenston Pack and Pride series but I might stop and do a reread of the last Midnight Breed book with Brock and Jenna.

I would have to vote for Bones. I agree with Crazy4More.The dynamic between Barrons and Mac drove me crazy. Bones was direct with his intentions and so cool about it. Love Bones.

What books is Bones from?
