Finished Mercy Thompson #2, which was amazing, onto Iron Kissed & Visions os Heat

Texxie, sorry, didn't get your question until now. Thanks Magda for answering.
I still have so many authors to catch up. Looks like L.Hamilton, A.Singh for Psy-Chal have huge series to sink my teeth into.

Just started

Oh Lindsay, you are SO lucky to have all the books ready for you to read. We all had to suffer waiting for the last book to come out. You should pretend to wait a week or two between book 4&5. Enjoy.

Now Im onto

Keep reading, ShadowFever is an amazing book.

I stayed up late reading faefever also and I had a very hard time going to sleep afterwards but I didn't have the next book so it couldn't be helped.

Now reading Iron Kissed.

You should move onto

IMO... this is the best Anita book in a long time... LKH is back on track :)

Yesterday I couldn't get my Nook to respond for a couple of hours. I panicked. I don't think I could handle a couple of weeks! Right now I am being annoyed by Mac for being a bitch. I'm trying to understand she was hurt and all, but yeah.

Now reading

These two drove me crazy at points. It's like they moved one step forward then ended up 3 steps back, WTF...

Now reading

Queen of Shadow was a pleasant surprise for me too. It captivated my attention with action packed plot, juicy strong characters and endearing love story. I hated that it's over but can't wait for the next one, coming out in soon.

Will start

I already read Voyager. I am on the one after that now.
Reading

I love love love this series and I am rereading it right now.. I know what you mean about them driving you crazy :)

Good :) Although

I've just finished

But like you I will also read

I'm going to read

What were the other two? So far I'm on page 6 or something and there are a lot of things I don't know what they are. Mostly they pertain to New York City, a place I've never been. I feel a lot of Googling coming on. I get annoyed when I can't picture the things and instead of describing the author uses things they think most people should know about (like locations in a city). Not saying that's what she did, I'm not far enough into it to complain yet, I just feel like I have this huge gap in my knowledgeable about things from the pages I have read so far ^_^

Wanted to explore some facts behind the fantasy.

Hmm both Historicals, I generally like those. I was surprised that A Visit from the Goon Squad isn't a historical at all. It's in modern day New York. I was expecting the 70s from the cover but when I saw 'Google' and "without the twin towers" I was like 'huh?' lol.

I know right?! The angst! Just listen to your biology girl! Or step aside, there's a line forming.

Just finished

On to the next one.

I'm not sure what to think of it so far, only on chapter two but I knew I wouldn't like reading about the record company and all the stuff that goes on there, and I don't. It seems to have won so many awards too. I wont hold my breath. I guess I should just hurry up and finish it so I can move on to the next Sookie book =)
I have been waiting to start Moning's series until the books were all out (which is my understanding they are??) and I'm saving them up for my vacation in July - can't wait! Until then, I'm reading
- I'd considered picking up Good Squad but it hasn't filtered to the top of the TBR yet.

I became interested in the Fever series when Barrons was up against Curran in the Alpha Wars (a Facebook contest by the Vampire Book Club.) Anyway, I was totally behind Curran, but everyone said Barrons was awesome ~ Now that I read book 1 & 2, I agree!
The books are fast paced and written in the first person. MacKayla (Mac) is a Sidhe-seer; she can see the fae, both light and dark. Lines are being drawn, but it's never completely clear who is really good, good being a very 'iffy' term. :)
