Domino (aka Meme) (bryghtstarr) | 663 comments just started Definitely Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #6) by Charlaine Harris . glad Harris jumped right in with Quinn. he seems a bit suspicious to me though. hoping this book has a great plot =)

message 12956: by Bemidji (new)

Bemidji (ehleighen) | 39 comments I FINALLY finished Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse, #1) by Charlaine Harris . I read it too recently after watching the 1st season of True Blood so I felt bored. I think the show did a good job deleting slow parts. I also finished a children's book The Journal of Curious Letters (The 13th Reality, #1) by James Dashner . I really liked the first half, but then I started feeling bored and I couldn't wait to just finish the darn book. I don't think I can make myself read the 2nd and 3rd books in the series. I'm making myself read The Mermaid Chair by Sue Monk Kidd because a friend borrowed it to me. I'm having a hard time wanting to read more, I find the author too boring - too many non-important details. Just get to the good stuff! I guess I'm spoiled by Sherrilyn Kenyon. it's suppose to have some romance between a lady and a priest. I can't wait to finish this book and then either start the BBD series or start another DarkHunter one.

LilMisGrayBrisk | 502 comments I finished Dark Mirror (Dark Passage, #1) by M.J. Putney and it wasn't for me. Couldn't connect to the characters or plot.

I'm currently re-reading At Grave's End (Night Huntress, #3) by Jeaniene Frost .

I have an iPad and I load audiobooks to my iPad using ITunes, and I also can download them on the go (3G) with my Audible ap. I also use it as my e-reader because using the Nook and Kindle aps I can buy from whoever has the book cheapest at the time. Kindle has a lot of cheap independent authors who sell books in the .99 to 3.99 range, but somtimes B&N will be cheaper or have different free books. http://www.ereaderiq.com/ has a free service you can subscribe to that will email you daily free books and another service that will email you when a book drops below a price drop range you set. I really recommend the iPad, it was worth the extra price to me.

Exactly! I would like to know a name for what they are and how they came to be! And I so am excited for the spin-off. Dani is a character I've become very interested in!. She is one of my favorite character from the series because she's so young and so strong. :)

I read Beyond the Highland Mist, and it wasn't too bad. Would it have been more helpful if I had read that series before the Fever series?
