You're are lingering because you are savoring it and don't want to finish the book. Been there, done that...and of course now, I'm done and yearning for more. There is so much staging for the next 2 books.

I really enjoyed the HON series... Officially what started me on the paranormal road (besides Harry Potter that is). Lots of people seem to have a love hate relationship with the series... mine is more of a love-like...lol... dont think I could bring myself to hate it. :)

message 12570: by Crazy4more (new)

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments OK, I'm not starting anymore books, especially until Rough, Raw and Ready (Rough Riders, #5) by Lorelei James . I will finish The Darkest Secret (Lords of the Underworld, #7) by Gena Showalter next. I waited forever for it. Just picked up some great reads from the library but don't want to start of them either, sigh....

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY friends.

message 12572: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca | 225 comments I finally found time to finish Lover Unleashed (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #9) by J.R. Ward . It was good, but not great like the others.

I dont know what Im going to start now. Maybe City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments, #4) by Cassandra Clare , On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta , or Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning . Those have been next to read on my TBR list for awhile. My mom said she didn't like how City of Fallen Angels ended so maybe I should wait until Ms. Clare finishes that series to jump into it.

message 12578: by Susinok (new)

Susinok I finished Blood of the Maple by Dana Marie Bell today. It was really a fun read, plus pretty exciting. A really NASTY villan!

Parker is your average vampire until he gets cursed by a witch in the 60s to drink only the blood of plants. So in present day he's the worlds only vegetarian vampire. He meets and falls in love with a dryad, while the witch that cursed him all those years ago is hunting him down.

This book was so much fun! The sex was really hot, too.

Blood of the Maple (Maggie's Grove #1) by Dana Marie Bell

I love Molly Harper! The 2nd in the series is just as good:) and if you haven't read her Jane Jameson, Good Girls Don't series, you should really give those a try!

Jeanine (truejourney) | 315 comments Okay, so I bought Kissed by an AngelSo far, it seems really slow and it is hard to feel the emmotion of the characters... Please someone tell me it gets better. I have been in the habit of not finishing books lately, but I really want to like this series.

message 12587: by Nita (new)

Nita (gillnit) I'm reading Of Blood and Honey (The Fey and the Fallen, #1) by Stina Leicht . It is an urban fantasy that takes place in 1970's Ireland. It is really good. As much as I love reading urban fantasies from the viewpoint of a kick-ass heroine, it is nice reading something a little different. The main character is Liam, a young man who has never know his father and doesn't know he his half puca.

message 12588: by Denise Nanna (new)

Denise Nanna | 1321 comments I just finished Hard Bitten (Chicagoland Vampires, #4) by Chloe Neill and WOW. It was a really great book, but wow.

Reading The Hob's Bargain by Patricia Briggs now.

I'm on to Glory in Death (In Death, #2) by J.D. Robb ...I've been waiting a long time to get back to this series and Rourke...mmmm

message 12599: by Susinok (new)

Susinok I'm reading Marked by Elizabeth Naughton. I seem to be on a Greek mythology kick. Another Kenyon, then this one, then possibly the next Lords of the Underworld...

Elise-Pinterest+Goodreads=The Perfect Book Boyfriend (eliselovesshinyandnew) | 12 comments Currently I am reading 2 books (I know, almost more than my ADD can handle). I also had to break down and get one in DTB form (gasp, the horror). So, I have Master of the Abyss by Cherise Sinclair and Big Bad Beast (Pride, #6) by Shelly Laurenston on my Kindle and A Texan's Luck (Wife Lottery, #3) by Jodi Thomas waiting in the wings in DTB form.
