Bitten was really good! I loved it!

Amber Hatfield (strwbrywn20) | 22 comments Just finished reading You Slay Me (Aisling Grey Guardian, #1) by Katie MacAlister ... It was good, not the best, but it was funny and was a pretty fast read..I will probably pick up the next one if I can find it used..Now I'm reading Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1) by Rachel Hawkins ... Decent book so far, definitely YA, so it's missing some of the adult action that I love in my PR books..

message 12403: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (midna) | 44 comments Have I just told you that I hate book splitting? No? Well - I HATE it! Will finish the first part of BDB #03 and the 2nd part has not yet arrived *sigh*. I hate it to stop in the middle of a story :( Need to continue with Z's and Bellas story - urgently!
Well... but I can't resist without a book, so I'll start this noon with Nächtliche Versuchung by Sherrilyn Kenyon - at least the DH-series is not splitted...

message 12404: by Patricia (new)

Patricia (catnaping) I finished reading Burning Skies (World of Ascension, #2) by Caris Roane Tangled Threads (Elemental Assassin, #4) by Jennifer Estep The Gathering (Darkness Rising, #1) by Kelley Armstrong Now reading Defiance (Strange Angels, #4) by Lilith Saintcrow and Born of Shadows (The League, #4) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

message 12405: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) from the last time I was on I have finished Succubus on Top (Georgina Kincaid, #2) by Richelle Mead I feel really bad for Goergina & Seth sometimes Seth is just so delectable. Then I read Bloody Valentine by Melissa de la Cruz very cute little book, this was filled with three short stories that are all related to the next and upcoming book, it has closure, some insight into things, and a very happy ending, well as happy as it can be for our miss schuyler. Then I read Radiant Shadows (Wicked Lovely, #4) by Melissa Marr this one was definitely better than Fragile Eternity (Wicked Lovely, #3) by Melissa Marr Devlin was smoking, and the ending did set up for the last and final book of the series that is coming out here soon. And finally.... FINALLY..I started reading Acheron (Dark-Hunter, #15) by Sherrilyn Kenyon started this late or early sat night/sun morning I started at like 1am, I didn't finish it until 2:30am this morning, and was just in awe with it, it's amazing that Acheron is the man he is today after all he's been through in his entire 11,000 years of life, and to be able to have his own HEA was just Epic this was an Epic book, best by far, and I don't even care that I felt like my hands were crippled reading this book, it was well worth it, and I would do it again at a later date when I finally come around to do a re-read. And now I am reading lol, Dark Needs at Night's Edge (Immortals After Dark, #5) by Kresley Cole

La La | 245 comments Just finished Demon Possessed (Megan Chase, #3) by Stacia Kane , I rwally enjoyed this series. Now I'm reading So Still The Night (Shadow Guard, #2) by Kim Lenox . It's kind of a slow start but I'm hoping it will start picking up. I'm trying to read what is already on my Nook before I load anything else on it. If this doesn't grab me I might try and get back into Unholy Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, #1) by Stacia Kane .

message 12413: by McKenzie (new)

McKenzie | 57 comments Reading Hostage to Pleasure (Psy-Changeling, #5) by Nalini Singh right now. It is amazing me how long it is taking me to get through this series. Normally I would have finished what I have but I've been reading the series for well over a month now and I consider myself to be dragging only being on the fifth book. I'm kinda hoping to just get it done and over with.

Why are the books split? Is this a European thing with most books or just with certain books.

message 12415: by Pansy (new)

Pansy | 740 comments Just finished Big Bad Beast (Pride, #6) by Shelly Laurenston and I really liked it. I was not crazy about the main characters but I absolutely loved reading about the old characters. The book was hysterical. It was like a family reunion. I am now reading Bonds of Justice (Psy-Changeling, #8) by Nalini Singh . I was going to give up on this series because the last book was just not good. I hope this one is better.

message 12416: by Shellbelle (new)

message 12418: by Julie (new)

Julie | 3 comments I'm reading A Job From Hell by Jayde Scott. Bought it after I saw the trailer. About 70 pages in, it's starting to take a very interesting direction. Everyone seems to have a hidden agenda and the humour's great. Love it. Such a shame I've got to go to work.

message 12419: by Ruby (new)

Ruby (immortaldream) | 2 comments newbie here...i have seven books on my currently list. the only paranormal one is a YA PNR - Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely. the others range from murder mystery to mythology to non fiction historical to TV tie-ins (Heat Wave, a Castle book XD)

five more books are in transit according to my library account...hopefully some of them come in tomorrow!!

message 12420: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (midna) | 44 comments @Pansy: I still don't know - maybe it's because of money... we pay for a single book 7-9€ - that makes 14-18€ for one story... but yes they can do this with us, cause we're willed to pay *sigh*. What do you mean why i've started with the original LOTU books? Not only cause they're published 1,5 years after the first release - but because of the price. 9€ (german edition) and 5,60€ (english edition) is a difference, isn't it?

message 12421: by Anita (new)

Anita Clenney (anitaclenney) | 212 comments I'm reading My One and Only by Kristan Higgins. Definitely not paranormal, but excellent. I signed with her and Sherrilyn Kenyon this weekend so I picked up a couple of their books while I was there. The Sherrilyn Kenyon is one of the Dark Hunter series.

message 12422: by Bemidji (new)

Bemidji (ehleighen) | 39 comments I stayed up until 1:30 am this morning to finish The Reckoning (Darkest Powers, #3) by Kelley Armstrong , despite having to get up at 3:50 am. while I liked it, is this REALLY the end of the story despite it saying it's a trilogy? towards the end, I just kept thinking there weren't enough pages left to finish the story and I just felt like there was much to be desired, either another 100 pages or another book. this morning I started Dance With The Devil (Dark-Hunter, #3) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
