I just now got around to reading J.R. Ward's "Lover Mine" and I'm also reading Diana Gabaldon's "Fiery Cross." Since I only read before bed each night, it takes me forever to finish books.

I finished ...and was kind of disapointed with it...I found myself pretty bored through the majority of it no trent...very little kisten...Jenks was my bright spot with his "Tink's panties" etc etc

But the good news is...I got to start ...I'm on chapter 6 and it's flying...I hated having to put it down!!

Just finished . Starting . This series is pretty good. The entire series is free for download on several sites. The author just writes for herself. She doesn't want to charge for her books because she is just doing this for her pleasure. The books are good and remind me of BDB werewolf style.

I figured as much...the books in the series are kind of hit and miss so far on whether I like them or not...but I know everyone seemed to like Pale Demon so I'm going to keep going....

Tairen Soul & LU kept me on the elliptical 2hrs...easily. By the time I remember to get off, I was sored the whole day. That being said, there were days I was so enthralled, I didn't want to do anything else. Best get my butt to the gym and enjoy my book!

I love that series Allison - I've been hanging on to the last book to read - sad the series ended.

yeh i agree. figure nick is going to have a 'clarity' moment and realise all he's done wrong, beg ash for help and they'll mend their bridges and all of the wrong-doing together... fingers crossed :P

do u know how many books Kenyon is expecting to be in the DH series? i dont think she knows yet, but figure i should check just incase :)

I just finished I'm not really fond of the series, I could go on and on about why, but once I start a series, I like to see how it finishes. I actually liked - well I liked the part about Stevie Ray and Rephaim, so I was sorta eager to read Awakened to find out more on that story line, and I was pleased how that story line continued in Awakened. disappointed that there's yet ANOTHER book in the series coming out this winter. when will it ever end?! am I the only one bothered that PC Cast calls them "vampyres" but they are actually witches/wiccans? I figure the author thought parents would freak out of they knew their kid was reading something about wicca but since vampires are in vogue the parents wouldn't care. it's like, just call them witches already, that's what they are basically, with all their praising the goddess, rituals, the 4 elements, "so mote it be", and all that stuff.

I've got a lot of reading to do, 4 of the Borders bookstores are closing around here, so I've been buying pretty much everything I find of Katie MacAlister and Sherrilyn Kenyon. I hope Kenyon's other books are good - I've only read the first 3 of the Dark-Hunter series and really liked them. looks like I'm just missing 3 of the dark-hunter series. I also got the Born of Night, Fire, and Ice series. also found In Other Words, Blood Trinity, Bad Attitude, Silent Truth, and Whispered lies by Kenyon. anyone read those? also bought most of the Morganville Vampires - hubby liked it, he thought I would. bought the first 3 of Vampire Academy and the first 3 of The Bluebloods as well as a few of the Sookie Stackhouse series, and some of the Vampire Diaries. I hope I like all these books I'm buying! - I usually don't buy them until after I read them at the library. I'm so tempted to buy other authors I've only heard of, but I've already spent close to $200 - even with getting them at 50% off or better, so figured hubby would freak out of I bought everything I wanted to. too many books, not enuff time!!

I have read all of PC CAST'S books I think when she developed this book and went with the YA genre it lost it's edge. It seems to me that when ever you begin to think excitment is upon us well it falls flat. I thought perhaps it is th YA thing but thinking about I have decided that the problem may be the author wanting to save the climax for yet another book. Which I don't understand there are so many stories that have multiple story lines and they give chunks of info and yet the next book in the series reveals another chunk I think it is taking to long in this story to unfold and reveal what the ultimate plan for Zoey and why Kalona and her are drawn blah blah in the end the author has the gift to craft the story as they wish and thier creativity is the only thing that hold the story up. I keep hoping that PC will rally but I haven't even read the last one b/c I fear it will.. well be a diappointment. To bad I had high hopes
