cerulean🦋 (fakeflowers) | 31 comments Currently reading The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong of the Darkest Powers series. Pleasantly surprised with this one, but definitely missing the adult romance aspect of some of my stand-by's (Demonica Series, Night Huntress (LOVE!), Cassandra Palmer, etc etc etc). However, it's a highly entertaining slice of the paranormal YA pie & I'm loving it :)

message 11733: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (ashleylaura87) | 162 comments I joined audible to get some free downloads...the only audiobooks I've really ever been exposed to are the Harry Potter books. I got Shadowfever (Fever, #5) by Karen Marie Moning (even though I've already finished reading it) and I got Death's Daughter (Calliope Reaper-Jones, #1) by Amber Benson . I started Death's Daughter (Calliope Reaper-Jones, #1) by Amber Benson last night on my commute home.

Does anyone else use audible? Do you like it? Is it worth the monthly fee?

I really enjoyed the first book, more than I thought I would. I had to keep telling people to ignore the cover, the book was really good. Although I do like the cover, the illustration is different from most that are out now.
