Right? I also started Fever after Shadowfever was released already. I read the entire series in 5 days, I would have gone crazy waiting in-between books with those brutal cliffhangers! ... I'm having Barrons withdrawals now though. Lol

I will continue to read the series but I want more of a plot build up. I need to finsh Blaze of Memory (Psy-Changeling, #7) by Nalini Singh . It is taking me forever to read. I'm just not feeling it.

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments I've just finished reading the utterly amazing Shadowfever (Fever, #5) (and the entire series), and I err..got hooked into the urban fantasy/paranormal genre. Actually, I'm kind of going through withdrawal - I need more Fever books, and it's killing me that the series is over.

I'm debating if I should start the Beyond the Highland Mist (Highlander, #1) or Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1). Are there any other urban fantasies out there that are similar to the Fever series?

I LOVED shadowfever!! It was well worth the wait. I have not read the Highlander series yet but I know I will eventually. I did really like Dark lover though, but the 2nd in the series is my fav!!

Black Dagger Brotherhood is great! I just finished book #4 and am loving it!! The Highlander series is good too. I didn't find it as much like the Fever series...but it's still a great read and provides more background into the Fae. Another series (if you haven't gotten into it yet) that is terrific is Night Huntress....I am officially a Cat and Bones addict now :)
