~Jennifer~ (book_addiction) Finished The Perfect Play (Play by Play, #1) by Jaci Burton . The story itself was good...some of the dialogue in the steamy scenes was a little unrealistic and forced for me. Great cover though..drool worthy. =D

So you need to go back it only gets better. It was one of those series that as it went on it got even better. I hear Ione is doing another series that is from this one

The Fever series is great...well as far as I have gotten into it so far at least. I am way behind the times with it I guess, lol. At least all the books are out though because I hate waiting to finish the cliffhanger endings.

message 11123: by Karma (new)

Karma I just finished Karen Chance's "Touch the Dark." I'm having such a hard time deciding what to read next. "Touch the Dark" just seemed to ramble so much throughout that I had a hard time concentrating in it. I might read the 2nd Demonica by Ione unless I decide to start a new series.

I didnt read on past Touch the Dark. I felt it was too much information and I kept having to read back to find out what was going on. I really enjoyed the Demonica series though and am now enjoying the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.

message 11125: by Mary Cathie (new)

Mary Cathie (marycathie) I am going to be reading Karen Chance's Curse the Dawn by Karen Chance after I finish Lora Leigh's Heat Seeker (Elite Ops, #3) by Lora Leigh .

Sillylittlefishey | 1025 comments Ok Shadowfever (Fever, #5) by Karen Marie Moning is to the point that I hate to have to put it down...I hate time because there isn't enough of it and I know I can't stay up all night like I want to because I want to keep reading but 4am (when I have to get up) always comes way too early. I have a feeling that it will be done tomorrow because I always stay up late on Friday and Saturday anyway...

message 11128: by Maryab (new)

Maryab Maryab (maryabshire) So I finished Shadowfever. Though I liked it, I thought it would be better.
Now I'm on Kerrelyn Sparks All I want for Christmas is a Vampire. It's the first book I've read from her. So far, so good.
Yeah, my holidays are off. hee hee.

I love Shelley Laurenston also. I really got hooked on her series. The Pride series is just as good as the Pack. She also has a Coven series that are really short novellas. Several of the characters from the other series are in these novellas. There good but not as good as the Pack and Pride.

I was so torn btwn finishing it or savoring it. I savored it even though I wanted to finish it as fast as I could. There were times I was so tired, I wasn't focus and appreciate the last book as I wanted. So I stopped and enjoyed the book to the very end. I hate knowing it's the end of the series.

I think you need something different so I am going to suggest the Pack series by Shelley Laurenston. It is funny, sexy, and just a fun read. It is strictly shifter PNR. The Pride series is after the Pack. You must read them in order because Ms. Laurenston frequently talks about past characters. Have fun and let me know what you think.

I'm re-reading On the Prowl (Alpha and Omega Briggs) (Inhuman Wilks) (Buying Trouble Chance) (Mona Lisa Betwining Sunny) by Patricia Briggs because I'm going to listen to the Alpha & Omega books and for some reason this is not an audiobook.

Julie | 188 comments Just finished Glass Houses: Book 1 of the Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine. It's a re-read but I need a refresher so I can read the rest of them.

Now reading Dead Girls Dance Book 2 of The Morganville Vamps and City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare. I've been on a real Ya kick lately...

The Hunger Games got me back to reading YA. Speaking of which I finally got Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins from the library so I'll be reading that too...so many books so little time...

message 11144: by Juana "Darkness" (new)

Juana "Darkness" Duran I am currently reading "A Dangerous Man" by Candace Camp. I picked it because it looked interesting.

Christen (GoldiloxReads) | 57 comments I just finished Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead , and really liked it! I have to wait a little bit before reading the rest of them since I just got a shipment of five books from Barnes and Noble!
