You will LOVE Con! <3 Larissa said that was the last of the Demonica series, but I have a feeling she will write more in future...wishful thinking ;). She started up a spin-off series call The Lords of Deliverance, the first book comes out in April called Eternal Rider .

Patricia (catnaping) Who do you prefer, Creede or Bruno? At first, I was all for Bruno even after what he did,
And meanwhile, Creede isn't that bad of a substitute. ;)
"

I liked Bruno alot more in the last book I agree he's going to have to do something big to fix things.I really liked her and Creede they have some great chemistry Hopefully she gives him a shot.

I too, am one that is not crazy about UF's. I started reading The Hollows series and it took me quite a while to get through the first book but I kept reading. It was my first UF books. It got better and I've read the first 4 books. I do plan on reading more of the series. It's just there's not much romance in UF and I like to have some romance in what I read. I've heard the Riley Jenson series is good though, so maybe keep reading?

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments OK, after reading Voyager (Outlander, #3) by Diana Gabaldon , I'm convinced that Jamie is totally the epitome of 'mortal' male, sighs... Yes, he's rough around the edges, those highlanders, still can't get over his spanking Claire, ugh... Anywho, I'm in awe in the ways he carried out his responsibilities, leadership, sacrifices and most of all loving Claire with his heart, body and soul...only Claire.

Moving along to the next book, Drums of Autumn (Outlander, #4) by Diana Gabaldon

Levi Jenkins (levi-jade) | 43 comments I was thinking of trying an audiobook for the very first time but not sure what I'll enjoy. Any recommendations on a first read?

message 10431: by Rayna (new)

Rayna i have many audio books i like to listen to them in my car to and from work.
I have twilight, Vampire Academy, some BDB and Soul Screamers. out of them all the twlight one was the best to listen to.....however i really like listening to the BDB ones! Rhevenge's and John Matthews are my favorites! i would say the next series you want to pick up....try the first book in the series in audio form and see how you do!

message 10432: by Crazy4more (last edited Jan 07, 2011 09:21AM) (new)

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments In term of audio, I have Twilight, BDB but have not listened to them yet, but I will. I enjoyed Mortal Instruments a lot. Fever series is ok, Mac was good but Barrons sounded too old. I'm listening to JD Robb's Glory in Death now, it's very good. The Outlander series is a little to slow bc I'm too impatient but I will listen later. I'm bias toward anything Scots and English accent. Rehv's story is my favorite, maybe I should just jump to his book and hear his voice as the last thing before closing my eyes.

message 10433: by Rayna (new)

Rayna ummmm....well i wouldnt say the vocals are that great for Rhevs book! Me i love the story and kinof put up with the voice! if we are strictly talking voice then you may be dissapointed, i would have liked to hear a bit more deep and masculine myself.

message 10434: by Rayna (new)

Rayna hmmmm mortal instruments....now thats one im goinng to have to get! i love Jace hes to steamy! :P

message 10435: by Levi (new)

Levi Jenkins (levi-jade) | 43 comments Hmm okay thanks :)... well since you both mentioned the BDB series and I have been meaning to try that one from my TBR pile maybe I should try it in Audio version. I'm just worried that the way they may preform the story may change my like in characters or the story :s if that makes sense. Well I will look into trying one and let you know how I found it :)
Thank btw for the help x

message 10436: by Rayna (new)

Rayna See my opinion of BDB has 2 sides....when reading i kindof have the tendancy to skip alot of the parts with the lessers i kindof found those parts boring. but when listening to it i found i missed alot by skimming. but the books made me love the brothers and their mates better by reading versus listening. im going to have to say i enjoy the read better than the audio on BDB but that doesnt mean i dont like rereads....in fact most of my audiobooks i have already read and buy them so i can listen to them again on the drive

message 10437: by Crazy4more (new)

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments You know what, you have a great point there, Rayna. I do love reading more when it comes to devouring and adding your interpretation of the book. Audio reinterates by adding bits and pieces that was missed. You skipped the lessers part? that's too funny. I do love the accent and the artistry when the audio is done right. MI is perfectly done, you should give it a try. JD Robb is not bad, so far. I read the first book and listening to the 2nd book now. I have to give Twilight a try. There was a time when I almost remember every lines. Now reading non-stop with that crazed look when I have a good book in my hands, reading at red lights, working out...all the time. My brother just labeled me "....this is your brain on Twilight"

message 10438: by Rayna (new)

Rayna I didnt skip all of the lessers part but some of it just got soooooooooo boring i skimmed picking up the jist as i went along. i did have to back at some points and read again because i missed some key aspects but i just wanted to get into the brothers love lives so much i couldnt wait to get back on track!

you have that compulsive disorder too???? Reading at red lights! lmao thats why i went to audiobooks....safer laugh!

message 10439: by Amy (new)

Amy (amescat) | 279 comments Just finished Voyager (Outlander, #3) by Diana Gabaldon on audio...I am so in love with these books!

Starting Blue Smoke by Nora Roberts on audio while I wait for the Library to get me the 4th Outlander book on audio.

message 10440: by Crazy4more (new)

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Amy, how did you like VOYAGER? Isn't it amazing. Now that I've read it, I can listen to it. There were a few shockers, endearing and yearning moments I want to hear again. What an exciting book #3 was.

message 10441: by Amy (new)

Amy (amescat) | 279 comments I liked book 3 more than book 2. I was like WHAT at several of the "shockers" and going Jamie WTH are you thinking! When are you starting book 4?

message 10442: by Melissa (new)

Melissa | 14 comments I stopped reading after A Breath of Snow and Ashes (Outlander, #6) by Diana Gabaldon because I have heard that An Echo in the Bone (Outlander, #7) by Diana Gabaldon has a huge cliffhanger. I need to get the Fever cliffhanger out of my system before I get in another long wait for a sequel.

message 10443: by Crazy4more (new)

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments When I get off on-line...as you've noticed I'm quiet chatty today. This is how i get after a great read. I can't get into the next one right away. I'm reliving the book via goodreads. BTW, that Geilie is crazy!

I heard many good things about the 4th book. I do like Brianna and Roger.

I am only on book #3 but I like it so far. I'm also reading Spellbound by Nora Roberts, Misguided Angel by Melissa De La Cruz. I would love to read a series/book dealing with Shapeshifters or Faeries. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

i'm a huge fan of Laurell K. Hamilton and her Meredith Gentry series is good. it's about faeries. it's a bit explicit, so if ur not into it, ya know.... i don't read many solely shapeshifter books so i don't have a suggestion for that one. i'm more of a vamp girl. hehe. and just for a great series i suggest the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. i take that back, i'm actually listening to the Kitty Norville series by Carrie Vaughn and thats about Weres and a few vamps. mainly Weres. hope this helps =)

Ok, I'm caving in. After reading the excerpt on Amazon for this series (Highlander) I put it on my DNR list (that's do no resuscitate or do not read, interpret as you will) but I am reconsidering, mainly because my wonderful husband bought me a Kindle for Christmas. So many readers just cant be wrong, right??
