Catherine (cattymccat) Finally finished Burned by P.C. Cast. I think it was my favorite House Of Night book so far! I'm now starting Masquerade by Melissa de la Cruz. I hope it's better than Blue Bloods, because I wasn't very impressed with it, but I hear they get better as they go on, so I'm going to go till at least book three is over.

Masquerade (Blue Bloods, #2) by Melissa de la Cruz

Someone had posted here someplace the conversation (or joking one) that Ilona had with her publishers about the cover. Needless to say, that wasn't really where she wanted to go with it.

Domino (aka Meme) (bryghtstarr) | 663 comments i have to admit Dark Lover wasn't my fav of the BDB series. i'm extremely partial to book #2, Rhage's story. i haven't yet read the Midnight Series, but i'm currently reading the Demonica Series and there are some similarities to both BDB and Demonica series. i read BDB first and really enjoyed the ones i read. i'm also enjoying the Demonica Series. there are some differences and the characters are fun. plus the romance is great. i would say at least read book #2, but if ur not really enjoying u may have to move on. maybe come back to the series after some time. ur opinion may change =)

message 9743: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) Still reading Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, #1) by Cassandra Clare I'm a 127 pages into it. It's getting interesting, it's kinda cool to hear some names you recognize and other stuff as well. It takes some getting used too with the older style of clothes and the way they think well, the way Tessa thinks at least.

Angela (angieerickson) | 169 comments I loved the Fever Series and I'm interested in reading the Highlander Series. Could you tell me, is this considered urban fantasy, paranormal romance, or just romance? Is there anything paranormal or supernatural in this series?

message 9748: by Chels (new)

Chels (starsblackrose) | 1 comments I just started A Whisper of Blood. It contains a collection of different vampire stories, that don't fit into tradition vampire stories. There is romance but so far there is no boy meets girl, boy is a vampire, girl wants to become a vampire, which I enjoy! Check it out! I recommended it since so far I am enjoying it! :))

I just finished the Highlander series. Its all about the fae, time travel, and magic. I loved it. The last 5 books are the best. It has a lot of romance but it leads right into the Fever series which I am starting now. The last 3 books really gives the backdrop. I am excited to read the Fever series. I hope it is as good as everyone says.
Spell of the Highlander (Highlander, #7) by Karen Marie Moning just finished and starting Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning

message 9750: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 429 comments Fever takes a little to build up, but is so worth it! Read slow or like the rest of us you'll be anxiously waiting for January as the cliff hanger at the end of book 4 is ridiculous! Unbearable! But not in a bad way.
