A Mermaid's Ransom was great, Sharon. I love her vampire books too, and this one had a half vampire male lead. Lyssa and Jacob make a brief appearance. I definitely recommend her Daughters of Arianne series.

Rogue Angel was slow for me at times the whole Joan of Arc sword was kinda cool and the main girl wasn't bad but it dealt alot with religious zealots I might try the 2nd book at a later date.Halo I have just started so I can't really judge yet :)

Jan (janoda) I'm nearly finished with Kushiel's Chosen, and have read the first 3 in the Sirantha Jax series (awesomesauce all the way). I had to stop for a while with them, because I fear that the situation between March and Jax will go downhill again, and I want to savour their happy time for a while.

So after Kushiel's Chosen, I'll probably do some reading for the November challenge, which brings me to the Psy-Changeling series. I've been binge reading them so far, and think they are absolutely addictive and lovely. But now I feel tempted to skip the 7th and 8th book, because they seem to play out somewhere totally different and disconnected from the story so far... And Drew and Indigo's story is tempting me so much more. At the other hand, the overarching storyline is one of the biggest charms of the series, so maybe I shouldn't skip? Ack! I'm all conflicted!

Kushiel's Chosen (Kushiel's Legacy, #2) by Jacqueline Carey Grimspace (Sirantha Jax, #1) by Ann Aguirre Wanderlust (Sirantha Jax, #2) by Ann Aguirre Doubleblind (Sirantha Jax, #3) by Ann Aguirre

I loved that book. I thought Dragonfly in Amber (#2) was a bit slow and I did not enjoy it as much. I am almost done with Voyager (#3) and I really like it much better than #2. I like the action and the trouble Jamie and Claire always seem to get into so it makes it a face pace. I love all the research that went into the books and I plan to read all of the series.

message 9593: by Catherine (last edited Nov 04, 2010 01:22AM) (new)

Catherine (cattymccat) I don't think you need to have read The Mortal Instruments Boxed Set City of Bones; City of Ashes; City of Glass (Mortal Instruments, #1-3) by Cassandra Clare in order to read Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices, # 1) by Cassandra Clare . Especially since Clockwork Angel technically takes place before Mortal Instruments...

I am currently reading:
The Lipstick Laws by Amy Holder The Iron King (Iron Fey, #1) by Julie Kagawa Prophecy of the Sisters (Prophecy of the Sisters, #1) by Michelle Zink Graceling (The Seven Kingdoms, #1) by Kristin Cashore

I just finished Trickster's Girl by Hilari Bell & I really don't suggest it to anyone...
