I really like what I have read and several of the choice quotes completely amaze me with their construction. It's a strange feeling when you're in awe of work that you know your very own love did :)

Hi, I'm new to the group and am trying to learn my way around Goodreads. I also live in Orange County and think we have an excellent library system. When we moved here I told my husband we had to stay in this county, and we are, by one block.

As a one income family and as a voracious reader, I can't afford to buy all my books. Luckily the OC library will order almost anything I ask for if they don't already have it.

Currently reading Unraveled by Gena Showalter. Sorry I don't know how to add the link with the cover and book info.

Jackie

Welcome to the group, Jackie.

I'm with you about the OC library system. It's the only way I can feed my reading addiction without going broke.

Hope you'll enjoy hanging out with us here.

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Im very impressed with OC library system! Not only save money but also storage space, environmental friendly (not so much financial benefit for the writers, sorry). At the rate we're going thru books, we'd be living in wall-to-wall bookcases.

I read The Eternal Ones by Kirsten Miller and what a quick and great, sweet and suspenseful read it was. I found myself so lost in the book and was still guessing and questioning all the way til the end. And thru out the book was...huh? omg! man..., no... of course there were some awww's and sigh's too.

My next read is Mockingjay (Hunger Games, #3) by Suzanne Collins . And a quick chapter from Nalini Singh in Must Love Hellhounds (Includes Guild Hunters, #1.5; Kate Daniels, #3.5; The Guardians, #5.5) by Charlaine Harris

Funny how my interests went from Guild Hunter to erotica romance (Brown Siblings, Federation) and now YA...weird huh?

MsBeaglely | 118 comments The Orange County Libray is the library Nazis if you try to get a visitor card. They do have a better selection, but if you don't live in Orange County they don't want to have anything to do with you. You can't can't even request a book. Lake & Osceola Counties are much better when it comes toworking with other counties. I live in Polk County, but use the Lake County system b/c the closest Polk library is 20-some miles away in a bad neighborhood. Lake doesn't limit what services I can use, I just have to renew my card every year.

Domino (aka Meme) (bryghtstarr) | 663 comments started Club Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #3) by Charlaine Harris last night. it is starting out so well. the scene with Sookie waking in her bed to find Eric and not Bill was absolutely hilarious. Eric is so blunt but cute at the same time. he's also a heck of a lot more honest than Bill, which i absolutely love. also reading Eternal Hunter (Night Watch, #1) by Cynthia Eden . the plot seems really interesting.

Sin Undone (Demonica, #5) by Larissa Ione
It's a great ending to the Demonica series.
Great intro to the Lord of Deliverance series!

Ok. now the ever impossible choice to make...what to read next!

Rather than choosing a series, I'll choose an genre! YA? PNR? UF?
...SO hard to choose! Too many books to read! I blame goodreads!!

last night and now i understand when people say Urban Fantasy has no happily ever after compared to PNR. i was a bit disappointed by the ending =(
the story was pretty good but it could have ended so much better. not even with all the lovey dovey stuff but with retribution or something.

I'm reading Mockingjay (Hunger Games, #3) by Suzanne Collins . OMG, if Peeta or Gale dies....grrrrr...I'm going to write my own 4th book for the Hunger Games series. Please don't tell me, I'm just thinking outloud. I love this series but I've forgotten so much of Catching Fire. I hate that. I wished I re-read book 2 like some of you have done. Can't stop now, later.

Domino (aka Meme) (bryghtstarr) | 663 comments lunch was just too short! i reached the funniest and steamiest moments ever in Harris' books thus far. i'm on Club Dead and Sookie had her first intimate moment with Eric, until Bubba interrupted it all =(
then Eric fed Sookie his blood to help her heal. Eric's little "accident" was so opportune and funny; i think i burst an organ laughing. i didn't realize how orgasmic feeding someone their blood was. but, Eric's response was sooo great. i'm completely infatuated!

message 9043: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarah22) | 16 comments I just started the Demonica series by. Larissa Ione. And it is similar to J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood books in that there are 3 Demon brothers that work alongside each other to better the common good of the Demon races. So far I am only on the first one which is Pleasure Unbound and It has a everything in it, Werewolves, Vampires, every Demon you can think of and also the Aegis which are Demon hunters. I haven't been disappointed at all by these books. So if you want something HOT to read and action packed I think you would like this series for sure.

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments I'm so enthrall with Mockingjay and was thinking while walking my dog...hey maybe someone or me can turn fro YA to erotica romance...threesome. Anything is possible in erotica romance, lol. I just hate having to pick on in a love triangle. OMG, this would solve so many love triangle out there. OK...no more erotica romance for me, from a wholesome YA, beautiful, inspired, courageous series and I managed to turn it into something. Goodnight.

Dija Currently reading Twice Bitten (Chicagoland Vampires, #3) by Chloe Neill and it's proving to be much better than Friday Night Bites (Chicagoland Vampires, #2) by Chloe Neill . For one thing, Merit's becoming easier to stand, and for another, Ethan's ditched the stick up his ass, at least for a little while, and I'm definitely liking his attitude better now. This series isn't one of my favorites yet, but if this keeps up, it could definitely make it to the list by Hard Bitten.
