MsBeaglely | 118 comments Finished Spider's Bite (Elemental Assassin, #1) by Jennifer Estep over the weekend. It was a little slow, but it caught my attention enough to want to read the next book in the series.

Started reading Firestorm (Weather Warden, #5) by Rachel Caine . I love the Weather Warden series, but I really hate the long chapters. I know it's mind over matter, but it's nicer to read on the Kindle.

Domino (aka Meme) (bryghtstarr) | 663 comments Living Dead in Dallas is getting really good now. Eric had several lines in the scenes i've just read. he seems a lot more impassioned than Bill. i mean, Bill has lust for Sookie, but i think Eric really likes her. i know some people have mentioned that Bill is weird and creepy; he doesn't seem weird, but i know he has something up his sleeves. and i could just slap him for dating Portia just because Sookie and he are fighting.

I definitely was weepy at a few parts... Won't post spoilers but the scences at the end is what really moved me. I'm currently reading a book called

Perfect Peace by Daniel Black it is so disturbing/heartbreaking that I find I'm having a hard time not skipping over the parts where the protagonist is being put through hell... Sort of historical fiction and is a great book.

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Jacksonville, FL library isn't the best either but still better than nothing I guess. We had better libraries in Chicago. Usually it's not this long of a wait. I'm the 85th person for NO MERCY...sigh...it's going to be a long wait, but I have plenty new ones like Mockingjay (Hunger Games, #3) by Suzanne Collins . I had better luck with other series, must be the DH series lovers out there, you think????

Paul Daniels (mrpld) | 9 comments Been trying to read the Twilight's to get a feel of what everyone is so excited about. I find I have to keep at it a bit to stay attached.

The last thing I fully read that could be considered a bit of a PR was the Eddings "The redemption of Athalus", though it's probably a bit too light on the PR for many seeking that catagory.

Jessica,

Do you happen to know which library she uses? I in Central Florida, just south of Disney & all the libraries that are close have a terrible selection. A few of them are even cutting back on their delivery of books.

Jessica B | 13 comments Right now I'm reading Death's Excellent Vacation (Includes Night Huntress, #4.5) by Charlaine Harris . I didn't have high expectations of this book but I've motored through the first 4 stories and I thought they were all quite enjoyable.

I really only grabbed this one for the Sookie and Cat/Bones stories. So I'm pleasantly surprised by the others!

I get my books delivered to my door step, great selection of books(both print and audiobooks), I managed my account online, where I request books. I can also download ebooks and audiobooks through overdrive.com.

Welcome to the wonderful world of audiobooks. Now, you will never be bored while driving. Even red lights or traffic jams will no longer be such a nuisance. When you find yourself driving around the block, or still in the car after having parked, just because you want to know what happens next, then you have become an audiobook addict. : )

Check this thread out for ideas on good narrators: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/3...
