A Good Series.I've read the ones available.

Chelsea (vampirebookclub) | 89 comments Reading Veil of Shadows (Veil, #2) by Shiloh Walker , and it's good. I'm only a third of the way in, and I'm already fairly confident it's better than the first book in the series, Through the Veil.

Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3071 comments Sandra J wrote: "Oh, me too. I really enjoyed the book, and I haven't read any of the NH books so I had no idea who Mencheres was. I'm looking forward to the next book."

Sandra, you have to read NH series. It's so good, I thoroughly enjoyed every single book of its short 4 books series...and counting. Mencheres is the all powerful vampire from all we know in the previous books (he's powerful, it's not funny, in fact it's scary!) So to get to know him in EKOD was so refreshing and endearing. Plus this is the latest one of her Night Huntress World, the next won't come out until next year.

Jen, you think they will get their own series or a couple more bks? that's awesome. There's enough depth in their backgrounds to do that.

message 8509: by Jen ~The dreamer~ (new)

Jen ~The dreamer~ | 649 comments I'm not sure if she would create a world just for Mencheres and Kira, but OMG if she did, it would be fantastic, in my eyes anyway. I mean, he's over 4000 years old. I'd love to learn a lot more about him. I would love for her to continue the NH revolving mostly around Cat and Bones. After she's finished with each character(Spade, Mencheres, Vlad?, Ian,etc.) in NHW, maybe she could write books about different issues these couples/vamps get in to. I just enjoy her books and characters so much, I hate to see them go to the wayside after each dedicated book. :D I'm keeping my hopes up! ;)

I found the first book in the NH series in my library (a miracle in itself since finding any PNR or UF there is problematical). It is, however, written in first person POV which I dislike. I can count on the fingers of one hand the books written in first person that I've enjoyed well enough to actually finish.

If it was me, I'd return the Psy-Changeling since you don't have the first two, and maybe the Guild Hunter since you don't have #1. You can always get them back when you're ready to read them, right?
