Finished this morning. While it did start off a bit slow, it did pick up & I really enjoyed it. I loved Sparky and the references to Vernors & Faygo Pop. I just wish there had been more ghosts.

You will LOVE Unholy Ghosts. That series is just...well...it gets better and better and better with each book. It's very gritty and so vivid, and the heroine is unlike any other you've read.

So, I'm slowly chugging through . I want to like it, and some of the scenes are excellent, but I'm just having trouble with the lead. Some of her actions/choices don't make sense with her background. I'm only half-way in, so perhaps things will begin to align.

Has anyone read this one before? Thoughts?

I love the Argeneau Vampire Novels by Lynsay Sands. This is my fave series.

I finally started Demonica last night. Dang, they just get right to it, don't they? Lol. It was interesting that she starts off with a glossary similar to BDB. At least nobody smells like baby powder yet. :-) I'm only on chapter 3, but I'm already intrigued.

Not PNR, but I've just started The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

So far I'm rather enjoying it. Alot of setup is taken place, but it is building the foundations for the story and not in a boring way.

Started The Witching Hour.....could not for the life of me finish Interview With the Vampire. I agonizingly got through page 60 and could not endure anymore. I am mad at it because I really wanted to like this book! lol Needless to say it's on my "Couldn't stand to finish" shelf.

On another note....I'm not a big fan of Anne Rice's writing style. The Witching Hour thank God is going ok. I just think she fails to capture emotions and is more into painting the scene for you. hopefully it gets better?? anyone....anyone.....does the Witching Hour get better? I so want to be an Anne Rice fan! LOL

Meme, you will love Night Huntress! All of the books imo are amazing. I'm reading and I love it too! I think Frost writes a fun, sexy, action packed series with the best characters! Bones. mmmmmmmm

thanks for the feedback Andrea and Jen. i'm really enjoying Halfway to the Grave. Bones is a very interesting character. so is Cat. i just finished the scene where Cat tries to when her freedom from Bones. it was awesome. i can already see they are fighting against a huge passion for each other.

So far I'm really enjoying it. It is a historical paranormal about a dragon shifter and a human woman who is leading a group of rebels fighting against her ruthless brother for control of their plains. She is feisty, smart, witty, strong heroine which I love and the dragon is the same, so of course a romance and a romantic battle ensue!
