I just started the Chicagoland Vampire series by Chloe Neill. So far I really like it. I started Kim Harrison's series "The Hollows" and just couldn't finish it. I love Kresley Cole, Larissa Iona (Demonica), Lynn Viehl (Darkyn), JR Ward (BDB), Sherrilyn Kenyon (Dark Hunter), Christine Feehan (Dark/Carpathian)Jacquelyn Frank (Nightwalkers)Lara Adrian (Midnight Breed)and several others. Several series that I have waiting on me. I was also a little disappointed in Keri Arthurs's Riley Jensen series. Would love to hear about series that you wouldnt normally hear of!

I understood why so many of you praised the Morganville Vampires series. I'm halfway through book 2 and it's got me hooked. They're quick, easy reads -- a nice change of pace from some of the darker stuff I've picked up lately. I'm trying to decide what will be next: The Dead-Tossed Waves or Catching Fire

At the moment I am reading blood ties book 2 Possession , by Jennifer Armintrout and i think it is much better than the first. :)

Yeah it took me a second to get into it, but it did that With the first Anita Blake book too. But honestly it does that with all books. But I am enjoying it.

i really liked Wrath too, but when i read Rhage's story i just fell in love with him. his story was the best so far to me, but he's second to Zsadist of course of all tha brothers =)

I'm glad you are enjoying the series. I've read the 1st 6 and my only reason for not passing around this series like I do most of my books is the sex. I enjoy reading the variety of sexual unions she ends up having and their results, but some of my aunts and my mom don't care for that sort of that thing, they would be offended. So I just put them away on my shelf, or in some cases return them to the library and order the next one.

. The first three books are from the point of view of Phaedre. Then the next three books are from the point of view of her foster son, Imriel. The most recent two take place about a hundred years later and are from the view point of Moirin. I hope you enjoy them!

. now i understand what some of you have been saying about the eroticism in the latter half of the series. the eroticism is not bothering me, it's just that Anita hasn't been with Nathaniel yet. he's my favorite wereanimal and is just to surpass Jean-Claude as my favorite character. i just absolutely love Jean-Claude but i wouldn't mind if Anita was strictly with Nataniel. oh, and Richard is officially on my "crap" list! he's so two faced.
