I LOVE that series! I've read the first two and the last one I'll read very very soon, can't wait! I'm glad you like it as well :)

Heather did you like Jacob?

I did like Jacob. It's always interesting to me how an author can take something that's supposed to be so evil and turn it around into a society of beings that don't really have ill will toward humans. In fact, humans seem like the evil ones. :-) But it was a good love story, interesting twists. I'll never get over how easy it sometimes seems in PNR for a human to just accept that this other society exists and not be totally freaked out by it. Lol. It was enjoyable enough to move to the next one.

I really liked that series. Thought they got better as they went and even though a lot of people didn't like the last one, Noah, as much I did.

Alas, no ebook version. But hey... if it's steamy enough, maybe I'll buy the book. :-) Look forward to your review.

Thanks, Heather. No, there's no e-book version but it's worth paying for the paperback. I love reading short story anthologies and these "Best Of..." books are loads of fun.

Next I am going to try and get my hands on

I just got the first one in that series and haven't read it yet but my 13 yr old wants to ...do you think it would be ..."
Wow, it's been awhile since I read the first one. I think so. I don't remember there being much in the way of sex. Some PG-13ish violence. I think you would be ok.

I usually have 4-5 books going at given time.

I just can't do that. As it is, when I start a new series, I start crossing story lines/characters from the last one I read, lol! I can imagine the chaos in my brain if I was trying to read more than one book at a time.

thanks for the reply

But these are the three that I'm juggling at the moment.

Cant wait to read Infinity and soon as my hold on it comes in yaahhhh

Infinity sounds very good,

Quite possibly one of my favorites in that series. LOOOVE me some Elijah! *swoon*

I've really enjoyed the series so far, looking forward to Elijah's story!

It is part of the Meredith Gentry Series. I did not enjoy it as much as the earlier books. I think the sex between Merry and Mistral had something to do with it - a little too much s & M for me. The rest of the story and where it left off however has me anxiously waiting for the next one from my library.
I'm 1/2 way through Catching Fire. From the library I have Dark Lover - heard a lot on this group about the BDB and thought I should give it a go. Also from the library I have from Anita Blake series Bloody Bones. I keep reading on this site about her sex life in later books. I am still where she is avoiding the sex stuff, so I don't know if I will like that part or not. Sometimes it is nice to read paranormal without lots of sex just as a change. From my challenge list I have started Silas Marner, and have Patterson's Witch and Wizard plus Kenyon's Seize the Night. Not on my Challenge for June list but in my currently reading pile is The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. So many books I want to read and so little time!

Well I go to the library every day of the week that they are open, so they know me pretty well and that helps especially when I'm over my limit but I find something I've GOTTA HAVE lol...plus I keep hoping by example all my kids will learn to love books as much as I do

It is soooo good! Hope you love it.

I am going to friend you so I know if you ended up loving it as much as i do :)

Now reading

Her Gatherers world is a little weird. I loved the first book but everyone is saying that this second book is all over the place with the crazies and some people didn't like the beauty and the beast theme. Let me know what you think cause this one has been sitting on my "to-read" shelf for quite some time.

I did a re-read of the BDB and followed it with a re-read of SK's DH series and I realized that I should NEVER read these authors together. Their writing styles were so different that it took me a good week to really get back into SK's books and she's one of my favorite authors. Never again. lol

These books are weird. I was a little weary at the beginning of Stealing Kathryn. The hero is rather mean, but once I learned why, thought he had a good reason to be, I think. I am about 3/4 of the way through it and liking it more than Hunting Julian. I like the beauty and the beast theme.

YAY!!! Thanks Nita! It's been eagerly awaiting me on my Kindle so it just got bumped up a couple of spots. :)
