Crissa (cgoody) | 9 comments Ok...so I am on Book 3 Midnight Awakening of Lara Adrian's books and I'm just not getting into it. This probably has to do with the fact that I read Magic Bleeds last and it was sooo good! Does Lara Adrian's series get any better? I think I am drawn to a series that is told more in first person, such as: Ilona Andrews, Jeanine Frost, Kim Harrison, Patricia Briggs, Karen Moning...etc. Anyone have any suggestions for me??

Patricia (patblover) | 14 comments Hello there,
I'm new to this group, just registered, and I'm still beginning at it.
I've just read Alexandra Ivy, When Darkness Comes, from the Guardians of Eternity Series. A good read, I liked it.

message 7305: by [deleted user] (new)

I've been trying to read Moon Sworn (Riley Jenson Guardian, #9) by Keri Arthur , but so far it hasn't caught me. I think the problem is more with the formatting of the e-book than actual content. It has huge spacing between paragraphs, and with lots of one line paragraph conversations, that leaves lots of blank lines. It's distracting, and I cant' seem to get rid of it.

Pat aka Tygyr (tygyr) | 69 comments I am an avid reader and recently the majority of my books fall into the Paranormal Category. I am awaiting Bloody Bones from my library which is #5 in Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter Series. Living in the St. Louis area where the books take place is a real bonus. The library is holding for me the 5th in Hamilton's Meredith Gentry Series - Mistral's Kiss. I've read Norah Roberts Circle Trilogy which kept me turning the pages. Just completed Single White Vampire by Lynsay Sands - she has a different take on what vampires are in her Argeneau Series. Hope to start this week Sherrilyn Kenyon's Seize the Night - A dark Hunter Novel and another series I am really enjoying.

Crystal (infinitestorm) | 10 comments I just finished reading Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy, #5) by Richelle Mead , and I really loved it. I'm really looking forward to the next and final book in the series, although part of me will also be sad for it to come to an end.

I'm getting ready to begin At Grave's End (Night Huntress, #3) by Jeaniene Frost . I finally got a hold of it, though it feels like forever since I began searching for it. And that was only about a month ago.

It was much better than any of the latest books. Their is some numerous-chapter-long-sex-scenes which annoyed me but I just skimmed over them. I wouldn't mind the sex if she was actually good at writing them. There's lots of politics and magic and Richard is even decent in this book.
