Are you talking about the ones by Karen Marie Moning?

message 7255: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea (vampirebookclub) | 89 comments Read Personal Demons (Megan Chase, #1) by Stacia Kane this week while on airplanes. Wasn't sure how into it I was for the first half, but when I finished I knew I was going to keep reading the series.

Just started the 9th Anita Blake book Obsidian Butterfly (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #9) by Laurell K. Hamilton yesterday. Not sure if I'm going to like spending an entire book with Edward/Ted Forrester... but I'm hopeful.

Shelly (mashbay) fever series question- She was lost in the mirror worlds (I don't know what else to call them) and she killed the beast protecting her and then she says the world has ended when she sees who the beast really was.

go to add book/author @ the top of menu and type in book name...select book cover @ the bottom and hit search...select the book you're looking for and it will automatically place it in your comments.

message 7259: by Jesslynn (new)

Jesslynn | 164 comments I read the 1st of Kerrelyn Sparks series and hated it. I couldn't even finish it. It was soooo dull.

I just started Lucan (Pendragon Legacy, #1) by Susan Kearney and I'm starting to feel the same way about it. The sex started on page 60 or something and it just seemed so passionless and afterwards the guy was like,"i'm not in for a relationship, let's just be friends." WTF?? anyways...that kinda sucked.

Stick with it if you can..It gets better. I thought World War Z was great. It was really different than anything I had ever read before so I was a little leary when i first started it. Someone told me that the book is written by Mel Brooks' son- you know the funny guy behind spaceballs.

message 7270: by Alicia (new)

Alicia (aliciavillasenor) | 30 comments Hi, I'm new here. I am an unpublished author and reader of just about every genre. Right now I'm reading a historic romance novel, "In Bed with the Duke" by Christina Dodd. I'm almost done and not really liking it. I've read some great romance novels in the past but for some reason, can't really get into this one. Maybe it's because Dodd hasn't written a historical romance in over 4 years and she's a little rusty? Not sure but it's an OK book.

message 7271: by Heather (new)

Heather (doc77) | 79 comments just finished The Vampire and the Virgin (Love at Stake, #8) by Kerrelyn Sparks it was okay...Am now starting First Drop of Crimson (Night Huntress World, #1) by Jeaniene Frost I really liked her Night Huntress series which was surprising to me because I normally cant get into series with the same main characters I normally like it better when supporting characters from the last book become the main ones in the next book.

I hope it gets better. I haven't picked it back up yet, but I will. I've heard such rave reviews about it that I was really bummed out when I didn't like it at first. I figured I'd give it a bit and then try again. Maybe it was my mood, you know?

By the way, how do you get it to say "so-and-so wrote: whatever the quote is" like that?

Catherine - if you look just above the comment box on the right, click on add book/author. You then type the name in the box and choose link or cover.

Catherine, @ the bottom of each person's comment is a reply button. Just hit the reply button and it should come up in your comments box. I normally have to click it twice for some reason, but it will show up.

@the end of the last book, they at least work towards the friendship area but no sex yet. But, I've been hoping she's get her panties out of the wad and would loosen up enough to like him!
