chucklesthescot Stacey you were right about me loving Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene FrostI'm only on page 52(slow week, too busy setting up a blog!)but I love Bones! He just reminds me so much of Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer! I like Cat as well which is important coz if I hate the female lead, it ruins the book for me ie her from The Vampire Diaries.

Yes, LOVE them. I'm waiting for the Kindle price to drop on book 5 before I buy it, but it's killing me.

I was hoping to start this series, too! I heard it was really great, but since they are cliffhangers, I was going to wait until the last book is released b4 reading.

Cherra,
I hated this series. The guys are super hot. The story and IDEA are actually really great. But the Heroine and her buddy just turned me off. Dumbest "broads" ever.

Desperado (lethallovely) | 453 comments I went book crazy at the library yesterday & the hardest part was trying to figure out what to read first. So at the moment I've narrowed it down to Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh , Embrace The Darkness (Guardians of Eternity, #2) by Alexandra Ivy , & I'll Be Your Shelter (Indigo Love Spectrum) by Giselle Carmichael .I've never read Ivy before but I hear good things about her novels. As for I'll Be Your Shelter,i realized I haven't read nor come across many interacial romances & I'm making it my mission to try out a few.

Jen ~The dreamer~ | 649 comments Lover Unbound (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #5) by J.R. Ward WOW, Vishous is one dirty bird! I'm more than 1/2 way through now, don't really want to put it down, but since I'm at work, it could be frowned upon if I sit here and read. ;) Interested in seeing where this story is going...all I can say is, wow...takes me back to the "Sleeping Beauty" books by Anne Rice....

message 6708: by Melissa (new)

Melissa When I need something entertaining and distracting to give my brain a rest from life (currently exams) I almost always turn to Linnea Sinclair. Just finished my favourite of her books: Games of Command by Linnea Sinclair . It's really more Sci Fi, but there is a bit of paranormal flare to it. I must have read it half a dozen times already, but it is still perfect for study breaks.

Valorie | 426 comments I finished The Accidental Demon Slayer (Demon Slayer, Book 1) by Angie Fox . It was ok. Nothing too exceptional. It had some funny dialog between characters and it had some annoying characters. I will probably read the next book in the series to see if it gets better. I'm now reading Key to Conflict (Gillian Key, ParaDoc, #1) by Talia Gryphon

message 6746: by Courtney (new)

Courtney (mrs_hf) | 173 comments I'm re-reading Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward !! Finally!!

This is the first series I have ever re-read and I'm already finding tons of lines/meanings that I missed before. :)

message 6747: by Shelleyrae (new)

Shelleyrae at Book'd Out | 145 comments I'm reading Beyond Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches' Guide to Romance Novels both hilarious and interesting. It discusses the PNR genre as well as more traditional romance and I now feel guilty for not adding my 4 shelves of Mills and Boons/Harlequins/ Silhouettes to my read list - must do that lol :) I really recommend this book.

After that i need to get back to my reading challenge list so I think Origin in Death next.

Beyond Heaving Bosoms The Smart Bitches' Guide to Romance Novels by Sarah Wendell Origin in Death (In Death, #21) by J.D. Robb
