I kinda like it when there are two romances going on @ once. Sometimes it can be overwelming, but I guess i'm greedy. LOL

Fantasy Lover was okay, I enjoyed reading it, but it wasn't one of my favorites. I heard the series does get better so I decided to give the 2nd book a try.

Lover Revealed is my favorite book out of the BDB series <3 Butch gets on my nerves initially because I thought he had a thing for Beth, but I took a liking to him when he met Marissa in Dark Lover. Their love story is very endearing.

Sandra J Weaver (sandraweaver) | 451 comments I just finished rereading Lover Revealed and Lover Unbound. I'm finishing up Jeff Shaara's The Last Full Measure (HF). I scored Shelley Laurenston's Mane Attraction in the used book sale section of my library yesterday (50 cents!) along with two Andre Norton hardback fantasies that I don't have. They should keep me busy for awhile.

THE BLURB:

Remember when you were little and your parents warned you to stay away from certain things and told you that there were no creatures that hid in your closet? Guess what? They weren’t telling the truth. My name is Ana Sullivan and I’m one of those things that go bump in the night…

As a member of the immortal Tuatha Dé Danann, Ana was sent to the human realm three hundred and fifty years ago by the Fae council to keep tabs on the self-banished High King. Once a Celtic god with a talent for stealing souls, she does her best to keep her life on as even of a keel as possible, despite the fact that her best friend, Lucas Edwards, is a vampire. Keep as low a profile as you can, that’s Ana’s motto while she’s here. After all, she can live vicariously though Lucas.

Her tranquil life is thrown into a tailspin when an incident outside of her club points to her as the prime suspect in a high profile murder. As if that wasn’t enough trouble, handsome, rich and a media darling, Stark Grantham walks into her life she can see her peace and calm being chipped away one precious chunk at a time. Not to mention, Stark’s very, very human, as high profile as they come and everything Ana’s spent her life trying to avoid.

Given Ana’s Fae ability, a toxic touch that can be lethal to mortals, will his choice to be with Ana cost Stark his life?

Check out Liquid Silver Books for more :)

I'm not normally that bothered by cliffhangers, but these books pissed me off. The same cliffhanger has been unanswered from the 1st book almost 4 years ago. IDK...it's a great story, but I've been reading these since they were released and I wasn't impressed w/the last two books and now having to wait another freaking year just to get the damn ending to the story is frustrating. I will not be participating in any more of her stories.

Courtney, I was very skeptical when I start this series - I mean, come on, flying cats?? And the covers are very cheesy. But I really enjoyed it and the other books of this series. It is such a great story. The romance is great too. Rain is hot! - even for a guy that can turn into a flying cat. ;D

Francie, let me know what you thought of My Soul to Take. I got it from the library & just couldn't get into it. It's due this week & I'm not sure if I want to re-new it to give it another try.

I finished [image error] over the weekend. I absolutely loved it and I've already pre-ordered Blameless (The Parasol Protectorate, #3) by Gail Carriger . September seems so far away.

I've stated Three Days to Dead (Dreg City, #1) by Kelly Meding . It's a slow start, but the author keeps dropping hints about the mystery that keeps me going. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone.
