What are you reading right now?

Also, got "Silver Borne" today, so I'm setting aside "Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs." I've been doing that a lot with books, its starting to make me feel a bit like a book whore....

Now reading

oh my god i love the 1st vamp. acadamy book thats all i've read but the HoN sereis is sooooooooo tatally awesome!!!!!!!!!!

^^IMO, Sherrilyn and J.R. Ward have different style of writing. Sherrilyn's works are like PNR meets chick lits. Ward's on the other hand is a bit darker than that. I like both authors though because the male protagonist always have interesting past. In my opinion, it's really difficult to find an author that is on the same par as J.R.Ward but I find that Lara Adrian's Midnight series has almost the same tone as Ward's BDB. So maybe you can give that series a try if you haven't already :)
And please don't let Fantasy Lover deter you from reading the rest of Sherrilyn's Dark Hunter series. I think the series starts with Kyrian's book. Fantasy Lover is just a prelude to the series. I admit I don't like Fantasy Lover either and that was the first book of hers that I read. I almost gave up on her but decide to give her another shot. It was a shot well deserved <3

I have these books on my TBR list Are they any good?"
Yes, they are really good. Can't wait for the 4th to come out on the 20th.

DO YOU LIKE LOVER ENSHRINED?

INTERESTING I READ HER FIRST 2 BOOKS AND THEN FELT LIKE THE STORY WAS A LITTLE WEAK I FELT LIKE IT WAS ALL CONNECTED TOGETHER WITH LOVE SCENES. ( NOT BAD) BUT I LIKE STORYLINE TOO.:) ANY WAY I AM BOOK 5 IN BDB AND I HAVE TO SAY WARD KNOWS HOW TO FRIVE A STORY AND KEEPS THE READER GUESSING.
I HAVE TO CHECK OUT LARA ADRIAN SINCE I only have 3 more books in the BDB series to go. BOOhOO:(

Ah, Fantasy Lover. The cutesy book that has very little to do with the Dark Hunters, yet is their prequel.
SK says you can jump around, but to my mind the series wouldn't make as much sense/would seem kinda random if you didn't read it in order. There are definite threads running through all the books.

It is okay to jump around as each character's story is a stand-alone. BUT I would highly recommend that you read it in sequence, especially if you love Acheron. With each book, a tiny bits of Acheron's past will be revealed and to me, that's the best part :) Furthermore, I'm afraid you'll get confused when certain characters suddenly jumped into picture and the bad-blood is already there between them.
The Dark Hunter series is actually pretty inter- connected between one book to another as compared to say, Christine Feehan's Dark series.

I just picked this up and I have to say, I'll finish it, but it isn't a must read... The idea is fun but the execution is so so. I don't hate it, but I don't love it so far either. :(

Jumping around would not be good. Make sure that when you get to the Dream Hunters you read them in the order intertwined with the Dark Hunter portion. Also, there are some short stories that would explain characters that just pop up. I skipped the short stories and characters appeared in the next book with no explanation. Wonderful series though. Julian appears in several books after this one.

I read the first 2 tell me does the third get a better storyline?

Hush, Hush was great! It is about Fallen Angels and forbidden Love. The human in the story is Nora Grey and there are a lot of things that happen to her. The book has different twists in it and the author a really, really good job :)
Gone is the last book in the "Wake Trilogy" (Wake, Fade) This is a story that is more mature and not totally innocent (Language and Themes) The main characters are Janie and Cabel. Janie has a special ability that she thinks of as a curse, she is a 'dream catcher' and she gets sucked up into peoples dreams. She could change the course of the dream but not completely.
I'm going to start with The Fallen 1: The Fallen and Leviathan later or tomorrow. It's about Fallen angels again :)
I seem to be fond with Fallen Angels but I think of Vampires and Fallen Angels equally cool :)

I have fallen on my r=to read list too. I am curios about Wake,Fade.
Is Hush Hush a YA book?

I'm not a fan of SK so I'm not going to comment on the storyline. But I have to say, it is a horrible audiobook. Can't stand the narrator. It did not help the book at all.

I do love the Dark Hunter series. Fantasy Lover isn't the best one, but they get better!
