I just start

Nice to hear about On the Edge!"
I can't believe you haven't read On the Edge. That book seems right up your alley. I loved it. It's a little quirky--the first chapter or so I was like: ok, WHAT IS GOING ON? it's good stuff.

The Bronze Horseman, Pauline Simons Set in Russia during the war - very good)
And Indecent Proposal, Emma Wildes (erotic romance)
Enchanted, Elizabeth Lowell
Tender Torment, Jane Archer (an older historical)
Happy reading, Keta

Quirky is good. Quirky IS right up my alley!

Have you read the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris ([book:D..."
Yeah i enjoyed the Sookie Stackhouse Series. REALLY disliked the Riley Jensen Series. Maybe because i really only enjoy vampires? lol who knows.

:)

Another excellent one that I just read is a YA novel called Lips Touch: Three Times It's not one single romance story, but three, and they're all beautifully told, magical, and romantic. Even though it's categorized as YA I think that any age could appreciate it if you don't mind a little bit of dark paranormal fantasy and romance.

Have you read the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine..."
the fever series is awesome too.

started

Loved both those books Jennifer. Enjoy.
I'm almost done with Dead Witch Walking. This is the first Kim Harrison book I've read and I really like it a lot.

I checked out:

These are all boks that I've wanted to read but never really go around to putting on my TBR list. Eldest, I was reading in book format but I stopped after 2 weeks of consistantly reading it so I thought I would try listening.

The two series are really very different from each other. The Fever series is very much urban fantasy - focused on the plot and world building. Mac is a little bit annoying at the beginning, but really grows as a character throughout the series. The Highlander series is focused on the romance and the couple. I would give the Fever series a chance. You might really like them if you are into UF.

And now the Fever series is in my top 5 fave series--I LOVE it. :)

Michelle, i love Maggie Shayne, good choice. She has a lot out i think youll like her.

I agree with nita--highlander and fever series are very different. I know many have said that Mac was annoying in the beginning, but I never really felt that way. I love the fever series.
I looked at your shelves and I didn't see some of my favorites there:
-the Mona Lisa series, the first book is Mona Lisa Awakening
-On the Edge is a new one by Ilona Andrews
-Storm Born is the first in a great series by Richelle Mead
-I have just started reading the Shifter series by Rachel Vincent--I am starting book 2 tonight. The first book is Stray--for such a long book I read it so fast...in one night.
Hope you find something you like!

Cindy--I went and looked at your books and you have read a bunch of my faves, Kate Daniels, Outlanders, Sookies, Night Huntress & Black Jewels. So here are the rest of my faves besides the Fever series.
Karen Chance's Cassie Palmer series

Karen Chance's Dorina Basarab series (takes place in the same world as the Cassie's)

George R.R. Martin's Ice & Fire series - this is straight fantasy with little to no romance, but it is just an awesome epic story

Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games series--awesome YA trilogy, the 3rd one comes out this year
[image error]

Kristin Cashore's Graceling series--another great YA fantasy trilogy, the 3rd won't be out til next year

Also, all of Richelle Mead's series are really good--
Vampire Academy series - this is her YA series, but I think it's my fave of hers - next one comes out in May

Georgina Kincaid series - next one comes out in March

Dark Swan series - next one comes out next January

I loved! the series i really hope you enjoy it! Tell me how it goes? :]

And woahh I love Bones :) it has me laughing all the time too!!

Valorie, Night Huntress was one of my favorite series, there are 6 books total in this series, however there is not a release date on the fith book.

Was fallen a good book? I was thinking of starting it soon. :)

I just finished :

Do you all consider sci-fi romance paranormal? Just curious.

I would consider it paranormal, but I honestly haven't seen any sci-fi romance books that are not erotica. I like sci-fi, so I'll have to check Gabriel's Ghost out. I'm more likely to read a sci-fi romance, than just a regular old romance book. I like monsters in my romance novels.

And woahh I love Bones :) it has me laughing all the time too!! "
I tottaly understand what you mean! His wity remarks the whole series have me cracking up. I fell in love with him instantly <3 lol

I can't wait to read the next one. Is he in it much?
Anywayy I've just started Catching fire - Suzanne Collins!!

Hahah I know how you feel.
Ohh that's good :) I don't think I could read it if he wasn't in it.
Awhh and isn't it really sweet/sad whenever he cries? Poor bones!!
