Is this an ad? Is an ad appropriate in a book discussion?

Marilyn I enjoyed this book very much. Friendship was the grand theme of the book. The descriptions were wonderful.

Susan I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned something about the camps. A horrible time in our history that we should be ashamed of. Wonderful story, descriptions and character development. I really enjoyed that split between the current time and the past.

Linda This was one of my favorite reads! Loved the characters and the going back & forth from past to present.

Joanne I've been to the hotel, the owner has a wonderful sensitivity to the past. The tea room there has an overpowering feeling of a time that was. Reading the guest book is a history lesson, both bitter and sweet.

Marilyn How exciting to have actually visited the hotel, tea room. Walking through the book must have sent chills.

Wow

Joanne Marilyn, I would love to have spent a week-end in the hotel. The rooms are old fashioned, white cut-work comforters, vintage furniture, etc., but the bathrooms are down the hall. I'm spoiled, I guess. Still, a beautiful place.

Malissa Toth I just loved this book to pieces. I love endings like this.
