"...When Syph was young, I introduced him to blood and murder too early. I forgot he was with me, and he saw me kill someone in cold blood, for the protection of an innocent child. He wanted to learn more, so read up on it, and soon, his curiosity was overpowering. He's killed more than I can count, though he has refrained himself to hunting down those who prey on others. But his bloodlust... It's... Overwhelming..." Skye said, his voice lowering, as if he was going to lose it.

"Oh." Nana said. "That's awful, but that doesn't make him a monster. Or you." She reached over and hugged him.

Spektra flew off Tasuke's shoulder and transformed in mid-air, landing with a gigantic *thump* on her rear on the floor.

((Are they still in the hallway?))Syph, who had basically blended in with the shadows of the corridor, snapped his eyes open, hearing Spektra land on the floor.
Conveniently, on his foot.
"...do you mind?" He asked, his voice low, his piercing silver eyes reflecting brightly in the dim light.
((No, they're in Tasuke's office now))Spektra's eyes widened and she, out of instinct, disappeared.
((Lol, let's just say they weren't... or idk.))Syph grumbled something, standing up. "Goddammit... Is there any place around here where I can sleep in peace?" He asked, before a familiar urge from his anger reappeared. "...shit." He said quickly, dashing past Spektra and Tasuke, down the hall and out of sight, turning a corner with smooth timing.
Skye took her hug, but didn't do anything. "...he's probably headed out right now..." He murmured, sighing. "All because I was careless..."
((hahah ok))Spektra watched him with curiosity.
"...are you Syph?" she asked quietly, her gold eyes the only thing to be seen.
"That was Syph." Tasuke said dryly. "He doesn't seem to be in a good mood right now."Nana sat back on her heels. "headed out where?" She asked.
((WOW nana asks a lot of questions.))

Syph ran into the town, glad it was already night time. He leaped onto the top of a building's roof, his usually silver eyes a blood red. He sniffed the air like an animal, then licked his lips, a wicked grin on his face. "Looks like there are a couple out tonight..." He said softly to himself, a rasp in his voice. "Good... Very, very good..." He smiled, changing his fingers into claws. "Time to eat...~" He laughed, jumping from the roof onto an unsuspecting man who was prepared to break into a house. "And you're my next meal." He grinned, sinking his elongated fangs into the back of the man's neck, immediately killing him.
((what are Syph's powers?))"Hmm....." she frowned.
"Something's not right with him....." she turned back towards Tasuke's office.
"can we go in now?"

((Uh.... It's big. And it has a desk and some chairs and some bookshelves with no books on them just knives and lock picks and stuff. XDDD))Tasuke opened the door and walked in. He sat down in a chair. "Oh, by the way, that was a graceful landing."
((ok cool lol))Spektra snorted and sat looked around the bookshelves. She narrowed her eyes and picked up a knife; it looked like it was floating in mid-air.
((You'll find out eventually~))Skye nodded grimly. "Only when Tia is around can he relax. He couldn't ever even think of killing her, which keeps his urges subdued... but... She's under house-arrest with Ora, so she's not exactly available at the moment..."
Syph quickly disposed of the dead body, licking the blood off his claws, one eye silver, one eye still red. "...there." He muttered quietly, dashing through the slums of the city, pouncing on another man, who was getting ready to catch a lady walking the streets at night. Syph dragged him down the alleyway as the man let out desperate cries, but they were muffled by Syph's hand. "Shhh.... I promise I'll make it quick..." He hushed him, before slitting his throat with his pinkie claw easily, almost absent minded. "...they're getting so numerous these days..." He mumbled, his other eye returning to normal. His insane rage was gone now, and he tossed away the body in disgust. Luckily, no blood stains were on his tunic this time. ...At least Tia won't suspect anything... He thought, before jumping up on some crates to the roof, flying back to Skye's castle.
"Yeah...it's nice. But why don't you have any books? You hav ejust....knives and stuff." she held it in her hand, testing the aerodynamics and the balance.

"I can't read. I never learned. I was an orphan. Remember that I made my life by stealing things." Tasuke replied. He sighed and slumped down in the chair. "I see." Nana said. "What if those two were planing something? Not that they are or anything." she asked Skye. She could tell that their spirits were up to something, but she would let them do whatever they were going to do.
"They most likely are. I'm doing this actually for their benefit; to have Ora follow her impulses and get them out of there was actually the point of this entire house arrest thing. One day, I won't be able to rescue them, and they're going to be trapped in a cell somewhere. When this happens... Tia and Ora will need to be able to help themselves. They have a day left, so if they can get out..."

"...oh." Spektra sighed and leaned up against the wall, still invisible.
"Well, I could teach you, if you want."
"Can you become visible again. It's really unnerving talking to a wall." Tasuke said irritably. "And I don't want to learn. Reading is stupid." Being on the topic of his past made Tasuke very angry. He would blow up at anything. Especially his disability to read. Nana nodded. "So you're testing them pretty much." She stated. "Well I'm going to go now." She picked up her two cubs and left the room.
Spektra became visible again. She frowned."Well, okay, I was just trying to help." she growled, feeling that twitchy feeling at the back of her neck that she got whenever she was about to possess someone or attack them in some other form. She held her breath a bit, willing it to stop.
Tasuke turned around in his chair and faced the wall ignoring Spektra. He felt really bad about it, but couldn't help himself.
Skye didn't move from the floor, sighing. "In a way..." He murmured, half to himself, the other to the empty room.

"All the other what?" Tasuke asked harshly. "All the other people in this world?"Nana walked to her room and lay down on her bed with her tiger cubs. "I was wrong." She told them quietly. She feel asleep.

"No." Spektra growled, glaring daggers."Like all the other people who've ignored me and shunned me and excluded me- those people. I thought you'd be different, but I guess I was wrong." She raked her nails- now talons- along the stone wall, creating deep scratch marks.

Tasuke whirled around in his chair. Tears were running down his face. He didn't know when he had started crying, but he had. "I'm not ignoring you or shunning you. You aren't the only one who has been ignored and shunned. Just thought you'd like to know that important piece of information. You aren't the only one who's had a hard life. We all have."
Spektra nodded, and her glare softened a bit."I'm not saying you haven't had a hard life, no, you definitely have, and I think it's incredible that you've been able to make your way to living in this castle....to push your way through." she kept her claws unsheathed still.
Tasuke didn't comment on this remark. He just slouched back down in his chair and sighed. "I was crying wasn't I?" he asked Spektra.
"I like a person who's not afraid to show their emotions....proves they're stronger than all those idiots out there who think they're so tough because they don't cry but really they're just afraid..." was all she said, and finally took her claw off the wall. She examined the damage.
"I don't even realize when I start crying." Tasuke told Spektra. " Nice wall art there by the way. It looks a lot better than if you decided to, uh, use those claws on me."
Spektra looked at her claws and sighed."Sometimes I'm a monster..."

"No. Your powers are just extremely strong. And it's sometimes hard for you to control them." Tasuke told Spektra. "Or at least that's what I think. I don't think you're a monster."(( I just realized something. It's easier for me to rp a guy character than for me to rp a girl character... IT'S NOT FAIR!!! AND I'M A GIRL!!!! I wonder why that is cuz it's the same for my friend too....))

Spektra smiled sadly.
"Well, thanks." she sighed.
"What now?"
"What do you mean what now?" Tasuke asked standing up and walking towards Spektra.
"I dunno. I mean...what should we do now?"
"Uh... go to our rooms?" Tasuke suggested.
