Laine grimaced. Great. Amethyst had ruined her cover. "Amethyst..." she sighed, still remaining invisible. "Why'd you tell them I was here?"

"What did you want me to say?" Amethyst asked impatiently. "I can't lie and you weren't saying anything. Sorry"
"Sorry about the not saying anything..." Laine said quietly. "I'm kinda nervous around strangers..." She sighed. "Well, I suppose you want me to appear now," she said doefully.
Amethyst changed into a tiny baby racoon and hopped onto Valentine's shoulder.
'Can you hear me, Laine?'

'Yeah, totally,' Laine thought to Amethyst. 'That is so cool. This is how I talk to Keahi!'
'Neato. Anyway, you don't have to show yourself. He'll probably just ask you a bunch of questions.'
Valentine looked over at Amethyst, and smiled. "Cute." he then turned to Laine's direction and said,"Yes, that would be very helpful. It'd be weird to talk to someone invisible."
Amethyst jumped off and changed back. "How the hell did you hear that?" Amethyst stared at Valentine, very shocked that someone heard them.
Laine crossed her invisible arms. "Amethyst's fine with it," she said crossly. "And you'll probably just want to ask me a bunch of questions or something when you can see me."
"I messed up, didn't i?" Amethyst frowned.
"No, I'd just like having the security of knowing where the person I'm talking to is, so that I'm not talking to a wall or anything..."
'You definitely messed up the not revealing me to anyone, but other than that, I don't know what you're talking about.' Laine continued to glare at Valentine.
"Hey you still didn't answer the question, Valentine."
"I'm gonna keep my mouth shut from now on. If i do it again, you can slap me. Deal?"
"I'm telepathic, I can hear everyones minds, well, except for Zelda and Glass's..."
"That's nice to know." Amethyst sighed. "Remind me not to think of anything personal around you."
Joy, Laine thought to herself. Another mind-reader. 'I won't slap you,' she told Amethyst. 'Maybe put my invisible hand over your mouth...'
"That'll do." Amethyst giggled.
Valentine smiled. He then shook his head and muttered,"Great, I'm talking to someone invisible, and to a raccon on my shoulder. I'm so glad no one else is in here..."
"Be thankful im a cute, none-rabid racoon, dude."
Laine laughed. "Be glad I'm not invisible just because I'm a monster..."
Valentine raised an eyebrow, and then said,"Still. Either way, I look like I lost my marbles..." He turned red at that and then shook his head. "Nevermind, forget I said that..."
Amethyst turned back into her regular self and smoothed her shirt and skirt. "Rabies or monster?" she asked herself. "I'd pick the monster. Rabies are an awful thing to get."
Laine smiled. "I never let anyone forget anything," she teased.((I just remembered...Laine doesn't want to reveal herself to Valentine 'cuz he's probably gonna want to kill her for that prank...))

Amethyst sat down somewhere that wasn't covered in blood and smiled. She played her favorite song in her head to help her feel cheery.
Keahi nudged Laine with his nose. 'What?' Laine asked him.The small fox twitched his whiskers and pointed his tail at Valentine and Amethyst.
'Oh...fine,' Laine thought to him grumpily. Careully she folded her wings and became visible. "Hi."
"Hola visible Laine!" Amethyst looked over at the fox and smiled wider. "AWWWW! He's adorable!"
Valentine looked at Laine and then blinked. "Hey...Aren't you the person I saw in the bathroom?"((Ben much?))
Elektra was running home as a cheetah with Corvin lagging behind, "Hey!... I might... be fast... But cheetahs... are fast... er..." He said in between breaths.Elektra laughed, "Well, grandmama's gonna turn me into a frog, I don't want to change that to a fly!"
"Bathroom?" Laine repeated, making a face. "Why would I want to hang around in a bathroom?"
"You know, seeing a girl in a bathroom is pretty creepy if you ask me Valentine." Amethyst smirked.
Valentine looked at Amethyst and said,"Getting hit with honey and red bacon sent, and then being chased around the mansion by dark dogs is creepier, more so when it happens randomly."
"Whatever you say." She shrugged and began to pace around the room. She was terribly bored and missed Violet.
Valentine looked at her and then asked,"Who is Violet?"
Valentine thought about this, and then smiled. "Violet is a very nice name for a tiger." He then stopped. "Wait--Why does everyone have a tiger? It's getting a little...redundant..."
"oops...uh sorry. I had her since she was a cub." Amethyst laughed.
