"No, not me. I can't do that. It won't work on me....Like I'm immune to the transformation..." She said, shaking her head. She tried to get up, but found she couldn't move her limbs. She was dying, and it was happening before she could get back at the bastard king.

Aolin nodded. "Of course." She became a cat and disappeared.
((next day?))
((next day?))
((no, wait for coco...))Zelda just laid back against the wall, and waited to die. She just hoped Skye wouldn't find her after she died. She needed to have him near her.
Sura walked to Valentine's body. She looked at him then Zelda. "Do you think that making a sacrifice could bring him back?"
Skye's heart pounded in his chest. He counted the irregular rhythm that was beating through his veins, then his eyes widened. "One two, One two Three, one, one two..." He whispered. "ZELDA!" He screamed, recognizing the rhythm his heart made when his twin was dying. Scrambling to his feet, his head pounded as his empathetic link with Zelda was triggered. Syph had been sleeping on his shoulder, but his scales flared and his wings snapped open, hitting Skye squarely in the temple. "Oww! That hurt!" Skye complained to Syph, rubbing his head while running through the castle. He made quick work of the guards who came to stop him, cutting through to the basement. "ZELDA!"
"I wouldn't know. Maybe.." Zelda said, struggling to stay awake. She heard her brother's screams, and knew she couldn't answer. She could barely speak. So instead, she answered him telepathically. Skye...
Sura sighed. "It should." She said some magic then offered herself as a sacrifice to make Valentine alive again.
"Damn it, Zelda!" Skye said, voice harsh. "You know you can't go around dying people... That's my job." He said, checking her vitals. Twin of the Sun, Twin of the Moon. Skye and Zelda. Complete opposites. Different Responsibilities. It was decided the very moment they were first born. He started muttering Sun Spells, and picked her up. "The Sun is rising... We have to get her out of here."
Sura turned and glared."There is no point in me living. I'm already dead. I want to leave this place. I have to get Aolin." She disappeared.
Skye ignored her, sensing her determination. He ran quickly, practically flying up the steps and out the front gate, directly to meet the rising sun. "Zelda... Zelda, hurry..." He said, willing her with all his might to live. "I can't lose you again... It took me 16 years to find you this time... Who knows how long for the next..."
Skye saw Aolin in the shadows, staring at the sunlight.
Zelda just laid there in his arms, trying to will herself awake. Because once she closes her eyes, there'd be no turning back. And she was so weak...she couldn't even answer him anymore.
Aolin smiled weakly and then, there was an arrow sticking from her chest. A man was standing in the shadows. He had a bow.
((Jamie, don't just roleplay other people's charries without asking. It gets annoying after a while. Thank you.))Skye's eyes darted to the sound of an arrow piercing through flesh. "Tia, Nero Fire!" He shouted, and Tia spat purple flames at the man. This fire was also a hallucination, and did nothing to the grass, nor the surrounding area. It only made the man's senses Feel Like he was being burned. Unlike Regorath fire, which actually burned them but left the surrounding area unharmed. "You are Not Going to die on me." Skye said, looking back at the frail figure in his hands. "Don't you dare." He threatened weakly.
But she was barely holding on. She began to close her eyes. Her strength had left her, and she was so sleepy...
But she was slipping away so quickly. She began to lose the feeling of her legs, the numbness traveling.
She was losing consciousness, but was still fighting it. That darkness that she had foreseen in a dream, here it was. She had predicted her death coming for her, and had no idea. She would have smirked if she could move.
Syph, this entire time, had been perched on Skye's head, squatting on his hind legs, wings outstretched, as if absorbing the sunlight... "Absorbing the sunlight...!" Skye whispered, an idea clicking in his head. "Syphon, I need you to use your new element and channel it into Zelda, or this girl in my arms." Skye said to him in dragon tongue. Syph chirped in reply, and crawled down his shoulder, talons digging sharp holes into his skin, but he didn't care. "O..O-kkaayee?" Syph struggled to ask Zelda how she was.
Zelda couldn't answer. Her eyes were closed, and her heart was slowing to dangerously low levels. She was almost dead.
Skye could feel his eyes tearing up. "Twwwoo.... laay-eet..." Syph shook his scales in an annoyed manner, sniffing Zelda's body. He crawled back up Skye's arm and sat upon his head again, taking the stance he was in before, absorbing more light. "Zelda..." Skye whispered, a small tear falling and landing on her cheek.
But she was long gone. Dead in his arms, yet again. She was only sixteen. Her paler body was now fully limp, and her heart finally at rest. Romulus felt as though something had happened, but he couldn't quite place it. He decided to go down stairs to see his bride to be, and headed down towards Zelda's old room.
Skye openly cried now. "Not again... Not after she promised me.... No..." He said, in furious denial.
Romulus shocked. He walked through the room that was once fit for a princess, now a place of destruction. The place was a wreck, and his queen was no where to be seen. "What....?!"
Skye wiped his eyes on his sleeve, steeling his resolve to kill Romulus. "Those dead souls in the dungeon are the reason Zelda died. It's all his fault." Skye said, willing himself to gather the strength to be able to kill his own kin. He flicked his wrist, and a gap about the size of a grave suddenly opened up in the ground. "Be born into a wealthy life, sister." He whispered softly, kneeling in the dirt and placing her body in the hole. He flicked his wrist back, and the hole closed up. "May the spirits of stone and soil make a grave that shines like diamonds for my first kin, and let the earth recall her memory forever, just as in her previous 12 lives." He said, kissing three fingers as a blessing.
Romulus walked through the room, fuming. He suddenly burst out of the room, calling for his guards to come. But no one arrived, for they were either immobilized or dead. Romulus really didn't like this, so he pulled out his sword and began to prowl the halls of his castle.
Skye got back to his feet, and looked at his left hand. "I guess it's that time, isn't it..." He said almost to himself. "For you, Zelda." He said, closing his eyes briefly, praying for luck.
Romulus looked around in horror, seeing the blood of his guards on the walls, and then seeing the limp bodies on the ground. "NononononononNO!" He knew that Karma was getting back at him. That bitch...
Skye pulled out Syph's egg, which he skittered into happily, curling up inside. "Stay." He said. Syph nodded, and closed his eyes, seemingly falling asleep. "Tia, watch over the grave for now." Skye's voice nearly broke, but he steeled himself once more. Zelda wouldn't have wanted him to cry. "It's time for me to finally get my vengeance."
Romulus' step quickened, his heart racing. I'm not afraid! I AM ROMULUS! I WILL PREVAIL! But he was lying to himself, for he was a coward king.
"Come out, brother dearest." Skye called, his voice echoing eerily through the hall. "It is time to see which of us was really destined for the throne."
Romulus emerged from the hallway corridor, his sword in hand. "Hello, brother. Where is my wife to be?"
"Dead." Skye said, voice even. "Those dead souls in that dungeon of yours... They poisoned her. She's now buried in your front yard, brother." He pulled out his sword, equal exactly in every way to Romulus'.
"Oh? That's too bad. We were to have beautiful children." He said, sadness not even hinting in his voice. ((BASTARD!!!))
((D:< DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!))Skye smirked. "They would only be beautiful if she was the main factor in their looks. Now, stop changing the subject. We have better things to settle than how your unwanted children would look."
Skye didn't approach, but simply walked forward, sword at his side. "What have you done to that pretty mirror image of myself?" Skye asked, lifting his arm slightly. "It's become an ungodly sight of misery, cowardice and greed."
Skye easily parried his attack, his anger causing him to become sloppy. "What happened to those thousands of pieces of gold for the Fencing lessons, brother?" Skye asked calmly, still walking slowly towards Romulus.
Skye smiled, as his sword nicked Skye's flesh. "Do you know what I am?" He asked Romulus quietly, his smile for some reason seeming slightly insane.
Elektra ran after Skye, but stood back, wanting to help but knew only Skye should be doing in. "Kick his butt Skye."
((aw... man we have to wait for her... it kinda sux 4 her cuz now she has no characters... wait! there's ruby! she hasn't rped her in a whillleeee....))
