Zelda sat in a corner, looking away from Skye. She knew there was a dragon in the room, and if there wasn't anything she loved more than chocolate, it was a dragon. But she didn't move as though she noticed the dragonling. She was busy avoiding Skye.

((YEAH!!!))Skye smiled a bit, softly petting the dragon's head with his thumb, rewarded by some soft murrs and a nudge to his hand. The dragon's eyes met his again, and suddenly, his left palm tingled a bit, then burned. "Ahh!" He yelped, shaking it out, startling the hatchling to skitter back into it's egg, being griped tightly in Skye's other hand. "Owowowowow...." He said through clenched teeth, breath hissing through his throat.
((YESH. I loved that series... angrily awaiting the 4th book to complete the cycle... damn you Chistopher Paolini!!))Skye winced again, then blew on his hand. "Yeah... Just part of the bonding process... Jeez, they told me it would hurt, but not like my hand just got a third degree burn!" He calmly ended his rant a few seconds later by breathing evenly, and then started talking so Syphon again in Dragon tongue. "I'm sorry, the bonding hurt a little bit. It's alright now." He said to the hatchling, who poked it's head out again and murred unsurely.
I think I like that dragon... Zelda thought, smirking when she saw the dragon burn Skye's hand. Normally, she'd already be at Skye's side with first aid, and healing his hand with magic and then bandaging it. But now...things were different.
Skye flipped his palm face up, still trying to coax the hatchling back out of the egg. "It doesn't hurt anymore." He assured both of them in both languages. The palm of his hand was now a silvery-blue, almost having a scaly texture.
Zelda saw the scales, and then turned away. It looks nice... She thought, her minds voice a little calmer. But she still was pissed off at Skye.
The hatchling nudged her hand as well, a little more timidly, but the marking did not happen to her. "Dragons can only claim one master... Although, I think there was only one occasion where a break to that universal law happened, when two Twins became bonded to the same dragon..." He said, gazing distractedly into the dragon's eyes. "Syphon..." He spoke to the dragon in DT. "Yes?" It responded, listening carefully to his conversation with Elektra to learn some kind of english, adapting Skye's ability to learn languages upon hearing them.
Raven didn't answer. She only nodded, and petted the dragonling. She loved the little guy, but she didn't show it as she usually would.
"Well, good news is Syphon is learning Dragon Tongue and English at the same time... Bad news is that Romulus is on his way over as we speak, so All of us have to get outta here... Zelda, pretend you're still in the chains or something." Skye said, not being able to offer a full plan in less than a minute, carefully stuffing Syphon's precious shell in his bag while Syphon wrapped his tail around Skye's neck and perched on his shoulder. "Let's go, Elektra, Corvin, Tia." He said.((Raven had to leave :( ))
Tia shook out her wings again, and dived out the window gracefully, scouting out a safe place to stay in the forest while they waited for Romulus to leave again. Skye quickly followed, Syphon digging his talons into Skye's shoulder, startled by the fact that he was going to jump out a window and that a human had wings.
Zelda scowled. "Fine." She sat in bed, and took hold of the chains, making it look she was imprisoned. But she was gonna get out whether Skye—no, her bastard of a brother--would help her or not!
Skye regretted the fact that he had to leave Zelda so quickly, but he would do her no more good if he stayed by her side when Romulus came back. Syphon shrieked in dragon tongue, his wings unable to support him yet, crouching low and tight to Skye's shoulder.((Esther, your turn at playing teh bastard king...))
Zelda sat there, her eyes staring at the door as if to suddenly use her magic and cast it aflame. But her elemental and other defensive magic was nullified. The chain links on her wrists were keeping her from doing any of her magic.
((Yep, when in contact with her skin... she could like, lol, move her arm and fry him to a chicken wing with one hand...))
((Yeah, but the cuff of the chains are still on her wrists. The chain is broken, but she still has those cuffs on her.))
((... sorry!! i ttly forgot to tell u guys that i was going on an overnight NO INTERNET class trip for three days!! sorry!))
"You're lucky I'm still chained, or I'd have already melted you." Zelda hissed, her yellow eyes turning a bit more fiery red.
((Uh.........Yes.))"What do you mean, 'this' and 'that'?" She asked, getting defensive. If you even TRY, I'll kill you...somehow...
