Charron (poetryismypassion) Years ago I started one short story and one that started out as a short but developed in more. I would consider both to be in mystery/suspense. At one point, I actually had the courage to share bits and pieces with friends. After reading parts they wanted more so I wrote more. However, life seemed to get in the way and I never went back to them. I glance at the short stack of pages on my desk every now and again. I would like to see where story would go. I think somewhere along the way I lost the spark. I feel the same way about my poetry although I would also like to get them completed and published as well.

Tara (tara_ln) | 10 comments I think my book would be in the horror or fantasy genre. I have a tendency to gravitate towards vampires and werewolves, and many of my works in progress are vampire/werewolf stories. Although lately, the story swimming through my head is one about the single 30 something woman.

I'd like to write a children's stroy. I even have the title and the outline, just not the time. Ana and the Phoenix bird. I thought it would be fine to write it.

Katy (katy-pillar) | 3 comments well, at least you have a title and outline. ive started mine (because i have a virtualy non-existant social life) but i dont have any idea what my title would be! i thought it might come to me when i get most of the story written (or at least planned out- i make some stuff up as i go.)but it hasnt yet. Ana and the Phoenix bird sounds really cool. something i might have read when i was little. i think you should write it when you get the chance, i have fun with mine.

I'm thinking about pulling out non-fiction notes that I've worked on extensively. I'm going to put together a book dummy for it by the time I go to Book Expo America. Wish me luck.

Well I am currently working on a literary novel which is what I like to read and write most....
But it would be fun to write a detective novel or a thriller, as those are my other pleasures...but I don't think I have the stones to do that:)

Some of the most enjoyable books I've ever read, were children's books that I read aloud to my own children. Especially one's that made us laugh.

I think I might have one bubbling and brewing under the surface of me wee brain somewhere, just waiting to be read by an unsuspecting parent and child.

Xerxes Break(Vivian Ephona) (ephona) I have too many to write. To shorten it: Fantasy and Science Fiction mixed with a little bit of realism and romance.

Snow (kdskid007) I like to write fiction, generally realistic or, well, just realistic fiction so far... i need to expand my genre writing...

Karielle | 3 comments I am the kind of person to write "realistic" fiction, but i also LOVE fantasy so I might just write about stuff like magic.
