:O She did that? Grotty. Funny. But still grotty. I know. Jokes from years ago, or embarrassing moments you wish had been forgotten still get brought up! It's really bad when you're on the recieving end, though O_o

Haha. Best kind of family presents you could give somebody ;D !!! I saw the big bang theory and I was soooooo close. But then mum and dad dragged me out of the store before I could get into jumping distance --pout-- Poor Allen. Lol.

It is soooo stupid! I guess its the wait thing though. Cause some movies take FOREVER to come out. I remember HP6 came out soo quickly afterwards cause NM(?) was out at the same time and it didnt get more attention. Watched Salt the other day. I reckon that would have been a good movie to see in the Cinemas.

Yep. She did. We were like 14/15 then. That's the age to do stuff like that. Now i look back and shake my head at how silly we all were. And i do mean we. I was also responsible for a few things that seem so stupid now. Pads on guys backpacks....red textured tampons. So, so stupid!
True. It's horrible. And you can't pretend those things didn't happen either. You just gotta sit there and take the jokes, lol.

That's for sure! I love that show. It's so awesome. <3 <3 Penny and Lenard.

Oooh! I wanna see Salt. I love Angelina Jolie. That's YET another movie i'm waiting to come out on BoxOffice. I wanted to see it at the movies, but i could rope anyone into going with me.

Sorry for the late reply!!

Haha. I know. I look at all the year sevens and think, 'I wasn't that bad.... was I?' Haha! There's nothing else you can do really. Or you could make more jokes but then they call you sick minded and I really don't think I want to admit that to myself just yet! Hehe.

It was awesome. I loved it. I really wanted to see Black Swan though :L Mum and I both wanted to but we never got around to it. Stuff just kept coming up. So now we have to wait for it to come out on DVD. Sigh. I hope it comes out quickly.

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) Was anybody else as disappointed with COFA as I was? :( I hoped it would be really great, but I honestly think it was very much a flat book. Which sucks cause I love the MI series.

WOOOOOOOOOOW.... I'm really sorry to hear that you felt that way because I LOVED it. I thought she did a great job of picking up the story and introducing new conflict.

Maybe, if you stick with them, you will like COLS better because by that book, the conflict and everything will be established. It felt, to me, like reading COFA was like reading the first book of a series because a lot of things were being established and re-established; and sometimes first books are a little slow for various reasons... I don't know...don't give up yet though. :)
What made the book flat to you?

Ellen (ellenpenleysmith) I definitely liked some parts of it. Mortal Instruments is one of my favourite series, so I'll defs stick around for the ending of this new trilogy!

It was a little of everything really.

I did a major MI reading marathone before COFA and when I read COFA the characters were just so different! They were kinda OOC compared to the first three. And I have to admit I wasn't that impressed with Simon. One of my favourite characters in the book and he was playing two girls without telling either of them that they weren't exclusive. It was a shady move and just not Simon and I lost complete respect for him. Not to mention I'm kind of over the whole Jace's "I'm not deserving of you" act and none of the characters have really grown at all. I guess I hoped that the books would revolve less around relationship drama and more plot like the first three were. And then there was the plot itself.

I dunno. Maybe I'm being picky because I expected this to blow me away considering COG ended so well and all the hype that was surrounding it. But COFA just wasn't what I was expecting. Though I'm definitely sticking around for the next two.
