The ghost of a smile pained Akrisios's face. He was close to tears, and it confused him. What reason did he have to cry? A chill crept up his spine and caused his eyes to widen. His breath came shorter and he looked anywhere but at Lyra. I hurt her. I am the reason her brother is dead. I am the reason her parents hate her so. She feels nothing for me, and why should she? I can't stand her mouth. I can't stand the way she looks at him. I can't stand the way she looks...Now why can't I stay away from her? Volos is going to kill her soon, even sooner if he knows how I really feel.

She likes Muggle soccer (football) a lot and her favorite Premier League (English) team is Liverpool. A more personal gift would be something made of silk, since her little sister used to make magic silk all the time. She reads a lot; her favorite genres are Muggle fantasy and Greek mythology.
