Caleb tried to read Lyra's expression, regretting his choice. "Lyra..." He whispered. "Your drawings are really, really great. I'm sorry I didn't leave them alone, like you asked, but I wanted to tell you they're brilliant."

Nick sat back on the edge of his desk, waiting for a moment before continuing.

Caleb looked at Lyra. "It was awesome," he agreed quietly. "Which spell do you want to do first?"
