Caleb hung his head in mock-shame. His eyes widened as he looked at the floor. Dang, he thought.

Caleb sat up quickly and tilted his head to one side, his eyebrow lifted in mock-thoughtfullness. "Well..." He shrugged and grinned. "I suppose so."

Caleb, already sort of off-balance, fell off of his chair at her (small) shove. He hit the ground with a small "oof." He rapidly righted himself and got back onto his chair, cheeks flaming. He banged his head down on his desk and put his arms over it. "Go 'head, laugh," he said in a muffled voice, self-deprecating humor in it.

Caleb lifted his arms, trying not to wince at a pain in his right arm (his wand arm, which would definitely not help later). His cheeks were no longer quite as bright red. "I'm okay," he said with a nod. "It wasn't your fault." He coughed. "I wasn't really balancing very well. It takes skill to successfully sit on a chair, you know!" He exclaimed, wanting to redirect.

Caleb's head tilted to one side out of habit. "Yeah, I'm fine. Nothing a little sugar and rest won't fix. Don't worry about it, really."

Caleb grinned and laughed slightly. "Certainly entertaining." A hint of seriousness crept into his blue-gray gaze. "Of course we'd have to be careful. But it'd be fun."

Medea didn't allow herself to blush, though, oddly, she suddenly felt the need to. "Yes, you never want to upset Fate. The consequences are very severe," she said with just the trace of a smile.
