"Luckily," Medea said. She rolled her eyes. She wrote a few more things down in her notebook, then sketched something.

Medea stared at her notebook and the daffodil she had drawn. She took her quill and stabbed the paper angrily, blotting out the sketch.

((Okay, I'm tired of waiting. Iris is going to say something to Medea NOW. Even if it is totally lame to apologize on paper.)) Iris tore off a corner of her parchment.
Medea, she started writing, I'm sorry that I kind of took your partner. I didn't mean to steal Avery in anyway and I just... I was kind of flustered from coming in late... and yea. I'm sorry. The last thing I wanted to do was hurt you or make you feel bad. ~Iris
Iris took a deep breath, hoping this would work and quickly turned around and passed the paper to Medea behind her.

Medea took the paper from Iris curiously. She read it quickly, then stared at the girl. Medea blushed and wrote a reply. Thanks, Iris, but it's ok. We hadn't planned on being partners - Avery and me - and I'm fine to work with Caleb, and Lyra. Besides, I overreacted. I just assumed incorrectly. She discreetly passed the paper to Iris.

Avery watched a paper be passed quickly. "Well," Avery said, pretending he hadn't noticed. "DADA was... interesting. Probably potions, though."

Iris read the note from Medea and breathed a sigh of relief. Yes! Okay, let's just start over. Friends?

"That's cool," Iris told Avery. "I liked Potions too."
It's fine. I'm just going to stay out of the drama from now on Iris passed the note back just as class weas dismissed.

Medea nodded at Iris. She stood and gathered her stuff. "Well, that was a great class," she said. "And thanks for letting me be in your group," she added to Caleb and Lyra.

"We were glad to have you," Caleb assured her with a parting grin. Avery felt his stomach clench. ((Okay... Bye!))

Medea smiled and waved at Caleb. Then she hesitantly fell back to walk with Avery. "So... what did you think of class?" she asked cautiously.
