((Haha, I had an egg hunt. It's traditional with my family and then another family we're close to. I didn't find the golden egg. *sigh* Oh well. I got books for Easter!))
((Haha! Sad... We dyed eggs yesterday and got baskets today... Or family easter egg hunt isn't till next week, since my Nana is still recovering from her surgery. I'm glad you guys all had fun! I'm also glad there weren't too many posts when I got back. ^_^))
Caleb trailed slightly behind the group on the way to Divination, still thinking.

((Me too! I got on and was a little disappointed. What? There's not 200 new posts? Oh darn...))
Medea looked around for Avery and sighed. He always seemed to disappear. She turned around. Caleb was close behind. She could walk by him.... Nah. She could wait for Avery.

((Yeah. ALYSSA!))
Avery grumbled as he gathered his scattered noted. They'd all decided to fly from his hands as he'd walked out the door. Shoving them rather sloppily back into his bag, he ran towards the group. On his way by, he saw Caleb.
"Hey, Avery," Caleb called, heading his way. "Can we talk?" Avery didn't give the usual disgusted look and walk away, but stopped silently.
"Now isn't a good time," Avery said, his eyes on the ground. "But maybe later." Avery sped up to catch up to Medea, and Caleb walked with a slightly relieved smile. It was better than nothing.
"Sorry about that, Medea," Avery said. "I dropped a bunk of my stuff."

((LITTLEDOLPHIN!))
"No, it's fine," Avery said with a grin.
Caleb decided walking by himself was boring, and rather depressing. He walked more quickly until he reached Lyra. "This class is not my favorite," he commented quietly.

((LITTLEDOLPHIN!!!! JESSICA!!!! Ha, I finally got a Facebook. My friend forced me to.))
"Okay," Medea smiled. She stopped suddenly. "Um, Avery? What class are we going to? I just... blanked."

((Sorry. Yeah, I've got to go soon, too.))
"Um.. Divination," Avery said.
Caleb grinned as Lyra tucked her hair back behind her ear. "Your hair looks good down," he declared impulsively, still keeping his voice down.

"Hey, I'm Iris," she introduced herself to the pair.
"Yep," Caleb said with a slight smile. He pulled out one of the strange chairs for her at the classroom tables.
((Wait... what happened to her hand? Yeah, I'm glad too.))
Caleb nodded as he sat down in the seat opposite her at the two-chaired table. "You're welcome," he said. He glanced at the board. "Hm. Well, maybe it'll be an improvement over Tea Leaves."

((Yes! He DOES care! He's super-sweet and I love him... *cough*))
Caleb let out a breath as he pulled his notebook out again. He noticed Lyra looking at her hand. "You okay?"

((*sob* It's true... I know it is. I'm just in denial.))
"That sounds like a good idea," Caleb said. "That generally helps with bruises."

((*sniffle* Thanks.))
Caleb smiled. "Yeah. Still, sometimes they look even cooler after being iced. I'd know."

((Wow... I think this is the longest I've stayed on straight on a long time!))
Caleb smiled uncertainly, not quite sure if she was kidding or not. "You could try putting ice on half of it," he suggested.

((Fun. :) What's your report on?))
Caleb laughed quietly along with her. "Looking back, it was pretty ridiculous. I was just trying to be helpful!" He protested teasingly.

((Oh. You lucky duck.))
Caleb shrugged helplessly. "I try, but I'm just incapable of basic logic," he exclaimed. "It made sense to me at the time! You want to see which looks cooler, so you change half the bruise!" He grinned, his gray-blue eyes glinting with laughter.

((Okay. Wow, I don't envy you. At least it isn't a report on Romeo and Juliet? I don't know, that's the only consolation I can think of...))
Caleb quirked one eyebrow and leaned his elbows on the table, smiling. "It would... with... magic!" He declared.

Caleb shrugged. "I don't know, it's magic! I don't try to explain it!" He looked up as Iris came towards their table. He looked at Lyra, allowing her to answer. He wouldn't mind, but Lyra might. Plus it would make partnering odd.
((If Lyra says no, she can go sit by Avery.))

((Well, excuse me!))
Avery heard the conversation over his shoulder and turned around. "Hey, Iris, we've got a spot over here, if you want?"

Iris blushed, "Riiigghhhttt. Uh, I'll just go sit over there with, uh, Avery since he doesn't have a partner yet?" Iris quickly rushed away under the glare of the Professor, turning deeper shades of red by the second. Note to self: Do not sit with busy Slytherins. "Hi Avery," she whispered.
Caleb felt slightly guilty. Oh, well. It's not like we told her to leave. "Well then."
"Hi," Avery said. "How are you?"
"Hi," Avery said. "How are you?"

((Okiday!))
Avery shrugged. "Slytherins can do that." He looked at her face. "Not really." He smiled. "Don't worry about it."

"Oh," Medea said. She had spaced out again. "Um, hi Iris." She held back a sigh. I guess I should be used to working on my own. She twisted her ring around her finger, fuming a little. But she kept the disappointment off her face.

Medea leaned back in her chair. She didn't feel like talking to Iris. Or Avery. And of course, she couldn't try talking to Caleb, since he was with Lyra, and Lyra wouldn't talk to her. She made a mental note to apologize to Lyra later. Her eyes flickered to Avery and Iris, then away. She glared at the floor.
