((Oh, it was. Okay! See you in a little while!))
"It depends on what we're working on," Caleb agreed. "If you say you were, fine." He grinned. "But it was interesting blabbering."

Medea was still staring beyond him. Then she slowly switched her gaze back to Avery. "Well, to Charms?" she asked distractedly.
"Sure," Avery said, picking up his bag. "I've forgotten the way again, though," he admitted, looking slightly embarrassed.

"That's alright," Medea said with a light laugh. "I think I know where it is. Or we could follow people." She looked over her shoulder again, back to Lyra and Caleb.

"Great," Medea said with a smile. She picked up her stuff and started walking slowly. "I think it's this way..." She shot another glance at Lyra and Caleb. Maybe she should apologize to Lyra. And it was odd how similar Caleb and Avery looked.
"Alright," Avery said, mustering a more sincere grin. "I'm excited." He didn't like how she kept glancing at Lyra and Caleb, but he let it go.
Akrisios looked at his feet. He healed the bruise along his jaw with a few half-heartedly mumbled words. He felt pain more in his chest than he had in his jaw. He felt lower than dirt, soiled and disgusting. The most disgusting thing was his mouth, like he had swallowed dirt, but really he had only swallowed his words and the pain he felt was for what he had done to Lyra. So much had happened to her because of him, her brother's death, her parent's betrayal, Ever's death. He paused in the hallway. It would be so easy to just turn back around and go into the Forest and never come back out. There would be something in there that would fall him. Or the Astronomy tower? He shook his head."Maybe I should."

((PUDDING!!!!!))
Medea flushed. "Eh, Charms is ok," she said quickly. "Not my favorite class. But I like it pretty well." She watched Caleb and Lyra from the corner of her eye as they walked. "Oh look, we're here!" she exclaimed.

((PUDDING!!!!!!!!!!! Haha, I win. I had more exclamation points. Oh, poor Akrisios... I just want to hug him.))
"Great! I knew you could get us here," Avery said. He held back a yawn as he opened the door.

"I'm magic, after all," Medea joked. "Sorry, couldn't help it," she added. She looked around the classroom. "Where should we sit? I mean, if you want to sit by me."

((JESSICA!!! ALYSSA!!! I know, Alyssa doesn't even care that he basically wants to kill himself...))
Akrisios glared at the back of Lyra's head.If she wasn't so darned stubborn. She can't see anything farther than her own nose. She's not a wolf. She's a rabbit. A coward. No matter, snakes devour rabbits. I don't have to suffer her presence much longer. His hands clenched into fists at his sides and he gritted his teeth.I would force myself into a change, calm down. She's definitely not worth it.

((Well, it IS true that we would all be better off without Akrisios. Maybe suicide is the answer for him, lol. It would suit his dramatic personality. *rolls eyes*))

((Aw, thanks LITTLEDOLPHIN!!! It warms my little heart.))
Akrisios looked at the Charms room, shaking his head."A ridiculous class for ridiculous children. I can't believe I have to waste my time here."

Akrisios glared at her over his glasses, a wolfish grin splitting his lips."oh, you would like that. Sorry that I am one of the few who won't bow to the false queen." He adjusted his tie with pale trembling fingers. His face drained of color and his eyes glinted dully with pain, he swallowed the lump forming in his throat and changed his grin into a sneer.
He bared his teeth."Right, like I'd give you the satisfaction of having a class where you wouldn't have to look at me and feel sickened. Believe me, I can hardly look in a mirror any more without losing whatever it is that I have previously eaten."
"Oh, well, I suppose it dampens you ego when I have to break the fact to you that coming to this damned school has made me sickened with myself. Just stay the hell away from me, okay?"

Akrisios's eyes flickered to her quill and hand. He sneered at her again, drawing his wand, he stepped sideways and shoved her roughly sideways so he could pass her into the classroom."Episky!"He muttered, pointing his wand discreetly at her fist.
Akrisios growled in his throat and snapped his eyes shut."I don't have time for all of this nonsense." He hissed through clenched teeth. He passed the rows of seats to sit in the one in the farthest corner near a window.

Medea heard loud voices and turned to look. Her eyes narrowed in distaste. It was that Slytherin boy, Akrisios, and he looked angry - as usual. She turned her head away sharply to smile at Avery. "So how was your weekend, anyway?"
Akrisios covered his face with his hands and groaned inwardly. They're all staring at me. Well I hope they get a good look, it's not everyday you get a chance to gawk at a freak. I suppose I should start charging for the show.
Akrisios removed his makeshift mask and centered his gaze beyond the window and into the trees below. He smirked, almost hearing the cries of the centaurs, they were being wiped out today to ease the burden later when the real fighting began. There were so many Death Eaters, it was like swatting flies, not pain at all.
Nearly jumping out of her skin when Akrisios spoke to her, Anni shook her head to clear her thoughts and lie, "Yes, thank you."
"She's a little cowardly twit who tries to hide behind her tongue."He shook his head in disgust."Like a politician."
"I never liked politicians," Anni commented, "but I don't know anything about Lyra, so my opinions would hardly count for anything."
"Oh well, idle chat about her is good enough. It at least eases the sting. Did you know that she actually killed her own brother? I heard that she stabbed him herself."
She shook her head at the mention of stabbing, feeling her heart flutter in her chest. "I've heard nothing of the sort."
"Can we... change the subject?" Anni questioned breathlessly, her chest tight. It was still in her room, flecks of blood she'd never been able to get off stuck within the grooves upon the hilt...
Akrisios leaned back in his chair, a cat-got-the-canary grin plastered smugly on his face. He clasped his hands and put them behind his head in a casual stance."That was all too easy. Fun, too."
"What, driving Lyra away? Do you never pity her?" Anni sighed, closing her book. "Is it simply me, or does she always seem to be in tears?"
((I don't remember, was Lyra in any way responsible for her brother's death?))
((I don't remember, was Lyra in any way responsible for her brother's death?))
((Nope.^^))
"No, a snake has not pity for a mouse."He closed his eyes and sighed in satisfaction."And yes, she can't seem to close the pipes. She's always crying about something."

((Haha, I'm rather liking Akrisios right now! And Anni too!))
Medea twisted around, her hair flying, to watch Lyra run out of the room. She wondered what was wrong. Poor Lyra; she seemed nice enough - really, their fight had been Medea's fault. She glanced over at Akrisios. It was probably him being mean, she decided. She leaned in close to Avery. "You know, I don't really like that Akrisios boy," she whispered.
