Nick watched Lyra walk to the door. So far she seemed to be okay, but he was ready to grab her away at any moment.

Nick walked over briskly and closed the door again, casting a new locking charm as well as a strengthening charm. He gently pulled Lyra back and looked down at her seriously. "Ms. Lupin- Lyra. What's happened to Akrisios?"

"Okay..." Nick looked downright puzzled. "Well, is he going to endanger the other people in the school?"

Nick rubbed the back of his head. "Are you sure you can handle it?" He asked quietly. He looked from Lyra to the door and back. "If you're sure, then you can have one shot before I alert everyone else. It would be bad to make a big deal over something that could be solved simply.

((I just realized that there's less space between Professor Hayden and the first years than there is between me and me soon-to-be youngest sibling! I'll be nearly 14 1/2 years older than him, and Nick is only about 13 years older than the first years.))
