((lol))
Akrisios smiled."Oh no, the snake had nothing to do with it, it will simply appear again when I cast the spell, though, it had the effect I wanted. I cast on it to show Iviana that I'm not afraid to use them." He shoved his hands in his pockets."And I'm not making a promise I may not be able to keep."

((Ah...How do you know that she is the pureblood? The school is full of them, metaphorically speaking)
"Oh, no one will see it. You don't even know if I'm joking. But, I assure you, if anyone's there to see it, it will be the last thing they see."

Ivi remained silent. I am getting away from them as soon as I can. she thought.
((Dang again... Gee, babysitting my siblings is SO much more fun than RPing. Oh, and go vegetarians! Now I really REALLY love Akrisios!))
Caleb sat quietly as Lyra and Akrisios talked. He felt strangely like just listening, not joining in. Something about this whole day had been oddly depressing. He was worried about Lyra, though, and Akrisios seemed... much more human, and someone who could even be a friend.
Avery looked over at Medea, suddenly feeling very guilty. "Hey, Medea, I'm really sorry I haven't been talkative. I just have a lot on my mind right now... But... It's not you."

((Sheesh, he's a first year! Ah. Messed. Up. Little. Kid.))
Medea turned to Avery, suddenly feeling light. "Ok," she said, trying to sound indifferent yet concerned. "I understand." Her eyes swept over his face. "So...what are you thinking about? You don't have to tell me."

Avery rubbed his forehead. "Well..." He debated for a moment. Do I tell her? "My mom is really sick... Like, in the hospital in a coma. And it's just really hard."
Caleb watched as Lyra put her head on the table. She always seems to be tired... or sad. I wonder what's wrong this time? He moved his chair slightly. "Hey, Lyra, anything I can do to help?" He asked quietly. He felt kind of awkward, but worried.

Medea gasped, then quickly covered her mouth with her hand, hiding her reaction. She met his eyes and shook her head slowly. "I'm...very, very sorry. That sounds shallow, doesn't it, coming from a near-stranger? But I do hope she'll...be okay." Her eyebrows creased and she looked down. She felt guilty, now, for being upset with him for his silence. I'm so insensitive sometimes.
Akrisios felt like gagging.Really? She's infatuated with a nobody half-blood.This feels like a washed out soap opera for muggles. His head tipped sideways, thoughtful.Well, no problem toying with him later. He may be useful, and of course his use will eventually run out. Boring. Always is.He laughed unbecomingly.Dad said something about reading that muggle story the Most Dangerous Game, guess it sort of fits. That is, if humans were are smart and inventive as the "Game" dictates.

Frowning at her cup, Anni drew the leaves. Oh how small things managed to bother her. Just so long as... She shook her head at the mere thought. It didn't matter. It was over, she could forget, she would want her to forget.

His expression darkened."Shove it."He yanked his chair out from the table and slammed his notebook shut, walking to the Professor's desk. He bent at the waste, almost hesitant on feigning a bow and deciding to growl."Professor I guess I'll have to double my detentions, but I don't believe it's your business what was on everyone's leaves. It's a rather personal affair. I'll be going."

Ivi nodded and walked out of class and toward the Great Hall.
((gtg byes))
Anni finished her drawings, face cool and composed once more, and stood to walk to the front of the class to hand Professor Victoria her notebook.

Akrisios snorted. If the headmaster expects me to learn Defense Against the Dark Arts, he's lost his marbles. Well, that's an understatement. He's worthless, like Aurors, cast a spell at them and they're dead.Aw, boo-hoo. He walked down the hall toward the staircases, he was going to the common room.
Taking her notebook back, Anni followed the main wave of first years to the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom.
((Oh, man, Akrisios... I was so looking forward to you being there. And I hate leaving... Y'know, babysitting is kind of a drag when all my siblings are asleep but a two-year-old girl who won't go to sleep. But luckily my parents are home now... So I'm back in time for DADA!))
Nick (once again) was setting up on his table.
Caleb followed Lyra- well, it followed all the first years in general. "I guess he thinks DADA is overrated," he said, sighing as he watched Akrisios walk away.
Avery walked quickly into the classroom and sat down.

((Poor Akrisios... He wants to forget it for some reason. Maybe something bad happened in his past.))
Nick slid a whiteboard over from the corner to a few feet behind the table. He'd never liked the sound chalk made, and markers were much easier. He sat down on the table and watched the students filter in, grinning.
((Lol, he's related to some not-so-nice yet lovable people, oh, he'll come...but he's going to give the prof a hard time.))
Akrisios looked over his shoulder and slowed up."Hey, Anni?Need any help?"

Caleb tried to read the expressions on both Akrisios' and Lyra's faces as they entered the DADA classroom. He felt vaguely guilty, though for what he didn't know.
((Good, that's what I was hoping for Cheetos.))

((Me too!))
As the class slowly filed in, Nick smiled to himself. The first day is always good.
Caleb walked into the room slowly. He watched Lyra. Should I sit by her or not?

((Lll,Cheetos...I'm hungry...and it's 12:04...it will all go to my hips...))
Akrisios's mouth pressed into a thin line. He's going to blush and ask her to sit next to him. She's not going to notice and accept the invitation. Then they'll...talk...and talk. And I'll feel like a complete idiot. I told dad Durmstrang was better, that they'd accept me, but no. He went to precious mudblood hugging Hogwarts and any son of his would go there. Mom tried to send me to Durmstrang, she knew what would happen. The school hasn't forgotten. But no one cares what she thinks, just that she's lucky someone would taint their family tree with her blood. Well, that side runs strong in my veins father, and not even you will see a drop of it spilled. I hate that man, he'd be the perfect Imperio pawn. Akrisios forged a path to the far left, and in the back row. Just because I slave through the class doesn't mean I like it.

Caleb watched Akrisios go towards the back. The vague guilty feeling returned. They were all supposed to be housemates. He waited to see what Lyra would do.
((Have a diet caffeine-free coke!))

((Lol,it will not replace that certain fire flaming hot cheetos produces...Ah,the horror))
Akrisios set his-slammed his Defense Against the Dark Arts book on his desk as hard as he could, the sound echoing hollowly throughout the chamber. The chair's legs grated as he pulled them from beneath the table and plopped down, drumming his fingers on the desk. He touched his pocket, seeking the reassurance of his wand. He looked up at Professor Hayden."Have you seen the crap in that book? What year is this again?Aurors are no longer needed, they just waste space and time. Kind of like you."
