"Alright, who's the wise guy?!"

"Who is this 'he' you constantly speak of...?" she queried, ignoring his requests for he departure, "And by 'br,' do you mean brother? Is this 'he' your brother?"
((For clarification and differentiation -- the potions classroom: ))
Ani was the first to enter the classroom. She liked being early, especially to this class. She could set out her things and focus on classwork before anyone else arrived to distract her. The seat she chose for today was at the side of the classroom, close to a wall. She felt safe there, as she sat down and set her bag on her desk.

Darin entered the Potions Classroom. He didn't really care much for the subject, but his parents did, so his opinion didn't really matter. He pushed open the solid oak door with great effort. He saw the girl with the curly hair whose name he couldn't quite recall. It started with a vowel and ended with an "ee" sound, that was for sure.
Aha! he thought, the girl's name is Emily!
"Hello, Emily," greeted the boy as he sat next to her, placing his books on the desk with a thud.
A boy's voice greeted 'Emily', and Ani looked up in confusion. The room was empty except for her and Darin, who had just walked in. "Ani," she quietly corrected, looking back down towards her books.
"Ani," she repeated, slightly louder this time. Still, the girl didn't look at him. Honestly she was a little hurt that he had forgotten her so quickly.

((Umm.. I don't know what to write so I will respond to..."
((LittleD, I edited this amazingly, but I was on my iPod and accidentally went back a page, losing what I had written I'll write it tommorrow, so if it's not their yet, just wait, plz?))
Ani didn't say anything, but wondered why he was looking through his textbook already. Class hadn't started yet, and there was no assignment left for them. "That's okay," she said, if extremely belated.

"I-I really am sorry, Ani..." Darin places his hand lightly on her arm to show he was being sincere. A fraction of a second later he retracts it. He shan't grow attached to anybody. That would be bad. He recalled what happened to his family's old house-elf, Miphty. They liked each other and, honestly, Miphty was the only friend Darin ever knew. That is, until his parents found out. They were outraged that he had shown affection for his inferior. So much so, they made him watch Miphty get beheaded.
A tear appears in the corner of Darin's brilliant green eye. He could not let that happen to Ani. He simply could not.
((Ani, are you okay, are you okay?
Are you okay, Ani?
You've been hit by...
A
LOL))

She leaned on the wall for support and cried, giving in to gravity and ending up as a crumple on the floor. A sobbing, sad little excuse for life that was unable to help poor, unhappy Tristin.
Then she remembered something she hadn't before: The letter. Tristin was fine until he read the letter. All this distress was the letter-sender's fault! She recalled Tristin's statement about his brother and furiously put two and two together. How dare Tristin's own brother cause him such agony! How dare he allow his own brother to believe that love is a fictional thing!
She leapt up in anger, growling the way she always did when her anger levels were beyond capacity. She kicked the bathroom door open with a mighty boom! and yelled:
"TRISTIN BAELIN, YOU GIVE ME THAT LETTER RIGHT NOW!"

When Darin touched her arm, Ani looked up at him. He had a funny expression on his face, now. "Darin, are you okay?"

{It's because Ani smiled at him}
((Haha, funny.))
Ani wanted to ask again if he was all right, but figured she would get the same answer she did every time she asked. In her chair, she shifted, feeling uncomfortable in the silence.

"They keep house, cook meals, and are basically your slaves. They prepare the meals for us at school," he didn't want to stay on the subject too long, "but the magical creatures I really like are Nifflers."
((Gryffindor. What is your username if I may friend you?))
Slaves? Nifflers? "Nifflers?" Ani seemed astounded. "What are those?"
Slaves? Nifflers? "Nifflers?" Ani seemed astounded. "What are those?"

"A Niffler is a weasel-looking thing that saughts after shiny, sparkly things. They are quite loyal, but if you're wearing jewellery they'll bite."

"What type of animal do you have?" This whole thing about new creatures seemed incredibly curious in her mind.
