Milly walked through the main doors coming into a new school a term in was slightly bad she tought to herself. But least I'm not the only one.
Lucy was linked arms with Milly. "Hey Milly wonder how we're 'spose to get to the Griffindor common room without getin' lost as its soo big?" I wish our parents let us go when we were 'spose to go she thought after.
"I dono sis it pretty big." Only Mum would say it to dangrous prhaps I shouldn't have set the house on fire.

They walked straight forward into the entrance hall where they went through the doors into the great hall.

Drizzle stalked out of the Great Hall tired, lonely, and homesick. He stumbled upon two girls about his age who looked exactly alike. They twins, he realized. "Hi," he greeted them with a smile.

"Hi" Both girls replied happly. Milly's face lite up with happyness oh boy he is cute ish hope we will be good friends. "So whats your name then and house" Milly asked the boy sweetly.
Lucy had to hide her giggle, oh sis he way to old for you he looks like second year. Trust Milly to ask straight and forget her maners. *tusk*. "Hey i'm Lucy this ones Milly were new what year you in"??

“Uh,” Drizzle tried to find some difference between them, but he really couldn’t. They both had brownish hair and blue eyes...well, one of them had lighter eyes...now which one was she again? “I’m Drizzle Clark, and I’m a Hufflepuff. I’m just a first year. Why, are you two in a different year?” They didn’t look like they were in a different year.

Lucy giggled this is how everyone sounded when the first meet them as they were practaly identical. "were in first year as well its just your a bit taller than most" Lucy explains while looking up at the tall boy. "I'll give you a hint i'm Lucy I've got the lighter eyes." *giggle*.

Milly was boncying with excitment inside as she her eyes go slightly darker( this happens when shes excieted) "Oh hi yh' it hard to tell us appart at first but after a wille you'll know which twin we are. Oh and we didn't tel' you but we're in Griffindor." Milly was now practly jumpping with excitment. "It's realy nice to meet you could you tell us a bit about magic as we're both muggle borns and both missed the first term of school." Milly's eyes now the deep sea blue colour and a grin like a cheshire cats.

"I see," Drizzle observed. Lucy, lighter, Milly darker. Lucy, ligher, Milly, darker. Hey, Lucy and lighter both start with "L" sounds. Well, would you look at that. He now had a way of remembering them. Sort of. He looked down at his feet, involuntarily lifting his foot and bringing his toe down on the ground over and over again. "Actually, I'm Muggleborn and missed the first term too."

"oh good I thought we would be the only" Lucy said with a sigh and looked at Drizzle up and down and then contiued to speak "why were you late? We were late because someone couldn't control their temper wile looking after our three little brothers." Lucy glanced at Milly. Milly was slightly pink 'serves her right hehe'. "So she caght the youngest brothers cot alight witch luckly didn't have callum in it. then Mum lost it when the letter came with one of the teachures thought Milly was being prazzed for doing bad things. When she found out it was for both of us she said we weren't allowed to go dew to the bad things that haappen envolving magic. Then Mum became ill with the flu she ended up in hostibal then when me and Milly when to see her she got better so she wrote to the school and now were here. your turn" Lucy finshed and smilled at both Drizzle and Milly whoses face was a pichure.

'Grr Lucy's got such a big gob on her she normal so shy I think her and Drizzle are going to be good friends in time.'

Drizzle blinked stupidly as his tired mind attempted to process the information that had been dumped on him. "That's quite an interesting story, there. Mine is rather dull compared to yours. I was terribly ill, and I couldn't risk spreading my disease to anyone."

"oh thats fine that was another reson we couldn't come till now. I'm sorry if i overwellemed you I can do that sometimes." Lucy smiled at Drizzle. She could see that he was tired ovusly in need of a weekend lie in which never happend at home dew to the younger brothers.
"Lucy do you know somthing... We don't care you can talk for the world if you wanted tell everyone but leve poor Drizzle alone it been a long day. Drizzle could you show us to the Griffindor common room please?" Milly asked Drizzle kindly wille mocking her twin.

"Sorry," Drizzle said bashfully. "I've just had a rather long day of traveling if you know what I mean. Actually, I'm not quite sure where the Gryffindor common room is, as I've just arrived myself. Besides, common rooms are usually rather a secret, aren't they?"

He was such a hypocrite. He'd just attempted to have Anni show him where the Hufflepuff common room was and she was a Gryffindor. Hey, she would be of great use at the moment. Where was she? Or her twin brother that he'd never met?

"Hey no worries I know exsactly what you mean we come all the way from Devon about 5 hour drive to London. Where we met a teachure and then we fulwed here." Milly bonced back and giggled as she said the first sentace remebering the train ride. But then her noies scrunched up as she rembered the feeling of fluewing.'ehhhh'. Milly shurderd.
"Hey do you know any who could take us to the common room they you met to day" Lucy said as soon as Milly had finshed then shed taken over. Lucy had a small smily on her lips thinking about the common room: 'If that was the great hall I wonder what the common room is like.'

"Well, I did come across this one girl named Anni," Drizzle said. "She was fairly tall with reddish hair, quite long and curly. She also had large, olive green eyes."

" Oh good I love meeting new people, could you introduce us" Milly smiled at Drizzle. "Hey it was nice meeting you I wonder if you know where Anni would be?" Milly finshed.


Lucy on the other hand was just wanting to get to bed as she was so tired she could feel herself noding of and didn't pay much attentionat the end of the conversation.

"I'd introduce you if she was here," Drizzle shrugged. "Unfortunately, I haven't the slightest clue where she might be. Perhaps you'll find her in the Great Hall?"

"okay Thanks will keep a look out it don't matter anyway. Thanks again hope to see you soon" Milly said looking hope and sad at the same time then bounced over to the grand staircasse then stope and waited for Lucy who was saying her good byes.

"Bye Drizzle hope to see you agin looks like we going to exploering" Lucy looked over to where Milly was stood wavingat her. "Well good bye." Lucy started to walk over to Milly.

Milly and Lucy hulled their trunks up the stairs when they got up the top of the stairs Milly turned to Lucy and said. "Isn't there a spell we could use? I'm sure I seen it in one of the books can you rember it." Milly asked her twin.

"Yes I Think its windgardium Laviouser I give it a try." Lucy replied almost simaltsnusly as she was think of the same thing. "Windgardium leveousa" Both the trunks lifted Milly grined and Lucy girned too.

Kynton stepped inside and stomped his feet on the ground to shake off the snow. "Stupid weather," he muttered, making sure Iris could hear him. "But the cold doesn't bother me. And I like snowball fights."

“I haven’t had a snowball fight in years,” Iris frowned, remembering when her family would just sit down and have fun every once in a while. Not like now, she thought, just a little bitterly. “I like the cold better than the summer heat though.”

"I sure don't," Kynton said. "Why on Earth would you prefer cold over heat? Cold is miserable. Summer is better. You can spend time outside then." Outside, and out of the house. Away from everyone, he thought. Summer IS better. He cleared his throat and walked in silence for a few seconds. "Neither have I," he said suddenly. "Had a snowball fight in years, I mean. It's been a long time, but of course they were fun and I dominated." Because Mara let me win. He snorted to himself. And me and her would gain up on Dad. But that was before he left, and now she's gone too. Of course dear ol' Pyr would never have a snowball fight with me. And my darling mum would never get her hair wet or leave Pyr's side for that long. He was embarassed to realize that his eyes were stinging, and he angrily blinked away wetness.

“No, I like the winter because you get to go to school. I like going to school and getting away from my family sometimes. Plus it’s something to keep you busy. And I like the winter because of the weather. I just-“ Iris glanced over at Kynton and noticed that his eyelids were blinking rapidly and his eyes looked a tad watery. Oh dear, is he...crying? Iris realized. She’d never seen it coming. Perhaps I should ask if he’s alright. But I might embarrass him, I mean he kind of likes to look all tough and all. But he’s obviously kind of a upset about something. She continued talking while she mentally argued with herself. “I don’t know, I just like winter. The air feels fresh. But autumn’s actually my favorite season.” She decided to see if he was okay. “Er, are you alright there, Kynton?” Iris tried to ask him casually.

Kynton cleared his throat again, more forcefully this time. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be? It's just cold." He looked out a window, pretending to survey the snow. "I suppose winter can be alright, but it just gets old after a while. What with the snow and cold and all. I still like summer best."

"No reason," Iris lied, dropping the subject, taking a look at the passing torches. One, two, three..."That's nice. Wait, where were we headed again? I'm afraid I have a terrible short term memory at times."

Kynton jerked his head up in a somewhat cocky, cool nod. "Ok. Whatever." He frantically tried to think of a subject, suddenly worried she would think he was stupid if he didn't talk. Dumb Ravenclaws always assume everyone, especially Hufflepuff, isn't as smart as them. Huh. "I haven't been to the library much. I used to read at home though. Do you read a lot here?"

"Kind of," Iris said. "I read most of the interesting stuff in our books, though and I'm not really one for nonfiction. But I've been reading some stuff in this book I got for Christmas."

"Oh?" Kynton worked to keep his voice sounding uninterested, though he had to admit he was a little bit curious about her. "What book would that be?"

Milly and Lucy had culter and banged all the way up these peculier staircasses; one time two floors down Milly stepped onto a step and it vaneshed Milly then fell up the stairs. Lucy just laughed at her, Then half way up the next set of stairs it decied it wanted to move to what they think was a small classroom with matalic instruments which looked familar to them. Then they reached a portrate in the wall of a Fat Lady which they been told was the Gryfindor comonroom. "Exsuse me but are you the Fat Lady"
"Yes how many I help you young Gryfindors today."
"I belive the password is ....." Lucy said to it the portrate smiled and sung open for them. They both walkede in with their trunks floating behind them.

"Eh, I'm not sure if you'd be interested," Iris bit her lip. "I read this random vampire book. It's a Muggle book. And, uh, this other Muggle book. About a girl. Who turns twelve. Yepp."

It was plain to see she'd set off the slihgtest something or other inside of Kynton and her attempts to placate this rushed in. "I mean, it could totally be your kind of book," Iris said quickly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "It's just that it seems like most boys I talk to don't really enjoy them, like my brother, but I guess it'd be kind of neat if you liked them."

((LD!!!! It was this book called Twelve. Heh 'cause I thought it would be more appropriate since Vampire Academy is not. WHICH I LOVE. VERY DEARLY. I read them this summer and they are quite lovely.))

Iris really didn't think he'd like the book. And she wasn't sure if she'd like to discuss it with him. It would probably be really awkward. She'd gotten uncomfortable reading some of it. But she didn't let any of this show, simply smiling and nodding. "If you want to read them sure. You could borrow my rainbow book, I suppose," she suggested.
