Trinity Telluria | 1 comments How is it that I haven't seen any recommendations for Jennifer Ashley's Mackenzie Series? I absolutely adore the whole series and would rank it up there with LK and Loretta Chase.

I haven't gotten started on that series. I have been collecting the books little by little & want to read them all together. Ian's book is on so many "best of" lists! I can also recommend Samantha Grace as a historical author. Love her books!

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 3737 comments I haven't read any authors who have Lisa Kleypas' voice. I consider that a very good thing that she stands out in her writing and her characterization.

However, I think you can find authors who value character, story, description and sensual romance, so it's great to see so many suggestions.

Fiore | 4 comments Reader,
I read some of the answer published here but maybe some of you can help me in detail.
I've been reading both historical and contemporary romance but few authors develop a plot so sweet romantic but hot and steamy at the same time as LK does. Some I've read are MacLean, Campbell, Hoyt, Dare..I find that only Dare reach the level of "sexiness" Lisa Kleypas does. Please someone has any suggestion to make for my new sexy reading? both author or a book in particular?
Thank you very very much :)

I have recently been doing a reread of Jennifer Probst - The Marriage to a Billionaire series and the Searching For series. Contemporary & sexy. Another great contemporary series is by Catherine Bybee, The Weekday Brides series. I always recommend Laura Florand, very sensual writing. The Amour et Chocolat, La Vie en Roses, and Paris Nights series are all excellent.
