I'm out of Lisa Kleypas Books! What should I read Next???
Oh boy since I really dont need to read book one first, than maybe I will jump into boook two! tanks dhes for letting me know!
Alright, ladies, I just read samples of the first two Pamela Clare I-series that you all are raving about and I am not intrigued at all...what's wrong with me???
Amar, I think I haven;t started the series because the first book the "hero" is a politician, and I ahve concerns if that can be remotely sexy at all!
Heidi, I don't know if that's the issue with me...but check this out, maybe it will change your mind! :-)http://www.people.com/people/gallery/...
Amar, I thought all the books were really good, but book 1 isn't an action adventure type story, even though there's some of that in there. But books 2-5 are very action packed. Book 2 is actually most people's favorites. If you're uncertain if you want to purchase the books in case you don't like them, try finding them at the library if you can. I don't know much about your specific tastes in books, but I really don't think you'd be disappointed.
Heidi wrote: "He looks to goody-goody for me Amar!"He is pretty idealistic, but I love that about him because he doesn't sit back and wait for everyone else to make changes, he steps up and does it himself. I think you'd be surprised how UN goody-goody he actually is.
I wasn't sure I'd like it either, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the story is. Don't sell Reece short just because he's not your run of the mill hero.
Totally agree with Dhes! Reece is to die for:-) Different than the heroes in the other books because he isn't law enforcement, but so sexy anyway!!!:-D
Heidi, yeah? but check out the six pack!!I have been looking at my library (and the extended network of local libraries it is part of) and none of them have PC's I-Team books...strange.
Trewen wrote: "OK,I have to say....Reece is HOT"Oh, definitely hot!!!!!! Made me start a shelf called "politicians I'd do" LOL
Seriously, I did. LOL

I'm checking it out! Is Reece the only one in there? :)
I'm Laughing! I just checked your shelf! You actually have Gaelen Foley's The Duke in there too. :) Yum! I LOVE Hawk.....
I couldn't believe how many shelves you have!I will definitely be perusing.....I've been following your reviews since I've been on GR :)
Really?? That's very flattering! I create so many shelves because I do a lot of challenges and if I am in need of a specific kind of book, I can find it easier because of my shelving system. If Goodreads ever starts charging by the shelf, I'm screwed! LOL
Is it weird that I alway check to see how people shelve their books when I check my updates? It gives great insight to what's in a book that may not be written in a review. Some are so clever, they crack me up!

I know! Shawna, one of my GR friends, has tons of shelves. Sometimes her shelving is longer than her review! LOLShe's my shelf idol!
LOL Dhes! Love that shelf! I remember there was a Sandra Brown book too with a hot politician... the one whose evil wife died in a plane crash but a reporter who was in the same crash had facial surgery to look like the wife. Anybody read it?
Just finished
and really enjoyed it! 4.5* for me.. A very sweet love story! Can't wait to read the rest of the Fallen Angel series...

I love MJP but just would hate to disapoint anyone by letting them read these before most of the others!!
Joeera wrote: "I have n# 1-2 in the capital Theater series are the conceted or can i read them septerely"They are connected, yes (only the two books though). Best read in order, but not a crisis if you read 2 first. Tell us what you think. Many of us didn't like the hero.
Laura wrote: "I'm a Mary Jo Putney fan, too. If you haven't read
and
they are both 'must reads'!"oh wow i had no idea there were so many books on the "fallen angels" series. I only have the first one.
At Autumn's urging, I recently read
and was surprised by how much I loved it.It's not an erotic read, but it's a steamy contemporary romance with a controversial storyline that the author handles very well, and makes it believable!
Ryan is a male escort, and while he doesn't love the job, it's good money and he feels obligated to stay in the life because the person who "owns" him saved his life when he was just a kid.
Well, he's met someone and even though he keeps claiming that it's just a job to him, she can't bring herself to be in a relationship with Ryan because she'll be sending him off to work everyday knowing he's sleeping with other women. So he has to choose between his loyalty to his "madam" or the woman he's falling in love with, Sara.
I really hope you'll give it a shot. I wish I had a copy I could lend, but it was a birthday gift and it's only on my Kindle, no paperback to share.
I reviewed it, if anyone's interested, and spoilers are hidden. Dhes' Review of Fallen from Grace
You can also download a sample from amazon to check it out.

The thing is, we all read romance novels and we know there will be a HEA, so yeah, in book 1 Kara and Reece get their HEA, which you'll read a little about in book 2, but that's the extent of the spoiler factor.
