Sometimes I just love you so much, Kevin. But you must know that penguins can't hold hands! They only have flippers!

Youndyc | 1255 comments RA, I truly wish you had loaded up the image as opposed to just the link. That picture is a riot!!!

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I am sadly unskilled at loading up images...but thanks, Youndyc:)

message 55: by Lori (new)

Lori Oh! HAHAHAHA I am so going to use that as my new AV!

message 56: by Youndyc (new)

Youndyc | 1255 comments Lori, isn't it perfect? I would like to get a big color print out of that picture and put it on my office door. It would really get people's attention as they approach!

RA, you did better than me!

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Sheesh! Here you go:

message 58: by Lori (new)

Lori What the heck is that anyway?

message 59: by Lori (new)

Lori That's a penguin? Oh my. I guess I've never seen one look so...so...disgruntled and upset!

message 60: by Lori (new)

Lori WtF?! Ha! Ha!

Youndyc | 1255 comments The Web is an amazing place filled with amazing people telling amazing stories.

message 62: by Youndyc (new)

Youndyc | 1255 comments I'm still chuckling over that picture! Guess it just hit my funny bone.

Is the penguin angry BECAUSE it held Kevin's hand?

message 64: by Youndyc (new)

Youndyc | 1255 comments Angry because it couldn't hold Kevin's hand - no opposable thumbs. No thumbs, for that matter. I suppose it could be pissed because Kevin held it's flipper.

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
Kevin probably squeezed its flipper.

message 66: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) It's a wing.

message 68: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Used to.

When?

message 70: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I don't remember. But a long time ago. Probably when whales walked on land.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments They fly through the water. It's adorable. :)

Thanks Jackie! That made my night.

message 73: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) They really do fly through the water, don't they?

message 74: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments description

well, if you must know, my arms/hands are perfect for holding flippers with a penguin.

message 75: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments we just have to get really close hence the look on the penguins face when he discovered i had garlic for lunch

message 76: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I think they would like the anchovies.

message 77: by Youndyc (new)

Youndyc | 1255 comments flipper, wing, whatever. It was still disturbed by Kevin's presence holding it. Although Kevin claims that his arms/hands are "perfect" for holding flippers with a penguin. Odd. Personally, I think that maladjusted penguin would have poked Kevin's eyes out - not only would he NOT be still for the surgery, the surgery would no longer be needed...

message 78: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i hummed the theme from happy feet throughout the surgery which seemed to calm him a bit

message 79: by RandomAnthony (last edited Jan 13, 2010 06:03AM) (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Kevin, why do you have a big window from one room to the other behind you? Is the other room where the scientists gather to observe your behavior?

message 80: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments yes, sorta skeeved me out at first but i am used to it now. i now just go about my day inside the enclosure. occasionally they give me a mild shock when i do the naked king tut dance but mostly it is just observing

I think Kevin is actually an undercover detective.

message 84: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) He's detecting under the covers?

message 85: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments undercover detective. hmmmmmm

message 88: by Kevin (new)
