Artemis arrived at Mount Olympus, and called to all of the other Gods, she had news. Apollo followed close behind her.
"Late as usual," scoffed Artemis, she did not have much taste for Aphrodite (or anyone for that matter).
"You look awfully gorgeous today," Apollo complimented Aphrodite.

Artemis snapped her fingers, drawing Apollo's attention back to her, he may be enamored with Aphrodite's lures, but he always returned to his sister's side when beckoned. The moon and the sun, neither would be much good without the other.
"Well I was walking around the woods, and a little nymph told me that Hades is having a ball, and we're all invited," said Artemis.
"Yes," said Artemis, rolling her eyes in disgust.
Apollo beamed, "Aphrodite, would you do me the honour of letting me escort you?" he asked.
Artemis elbowed him in the gut, "Poli," she warned in a low voice.

"He's not going with you," said Artemis in a cold voice, "I've arranged a date for you with Athena, Apollo."
"I'll go with whom I please," said the sun god.
"I'll go with whom I please," said the sun god.
"Two faced," hissed Artemis under her breath.
"Ari, play nice," lectured Apollo, placing a hand on his sister's shoulder.

Artemis grumbled and walked away. Next time. Apollo sighed and headed in the opposite direction, sitting on the edge of the Fountain of Youth.
Artemis shot her arrow, but no luck. Her concentration was messed up by her annoyance at Aphrodite, and something else that she couldn't quite place.
Artemis chased after a deer, but somehow, it outran her, and Artemis sat down, feeling a little faint.
Apollo sat bolt upright at the fountain, knowing that something was wrong with Artemis.

Artemis frowned as her vision started to wobble.
Apollo looked around, not knowing where she'd gone.

Apollo came rushing to the edge of the forest, yelling for Artemis as loud as he could, but she did not reply.
Artemis slumped to the ground, unconscious.

Apollo arrived at the scene, short of breath, "What's happened?" he asked Hera, urgently.
Artemis' breathing was soft and laboured.
Artemis' breathing was soft and laboured.
Apollo reached to take Artemis' hand and noticed a mark on her wrist. He turned it over to inspect it closer. He gasped when he saw that it was the mark of Hades, etched into her skin in black.

"She's been cursed by Hades," Apollo said.

"She's been cursed by Hades," Apollo said.
"We have to save her," said Apollo, "because now she will either have to marry Hades or sleep for the rest of eternity."
"I'm not waiting for him," said Apollo, "I have to go to Hades now and convince him to wait for her."
"What can I do then?" asked Apollo, angry, "I can't just sit here and watch my sister like this!"
((yes, related to what they are the god of))
"I'm not giving into Hades! I'm going to fight him!" said Apollo.
"I'm not giving into Hades! I'm going to fight him!" said Apollo.
((no, Hades is King of the Underworld, so he can do whatever he wants in the Underworld.... same as Poseidon, while he's in the ocean he can do whatever he wants))
((Zeus and Hera can do whatever they want on land and Mount Olympus. Poseidon can do whatever he wants in the Ocean. Hades can do whatever he wants in the Underworld. Aphrodite can make any man fall in love with her, Artemis controls the Moon, Apollo controls the sun. does this help?))
((because she can only control him when he's on land or Mount Olympus, but he's in the Underworld right now so he doesn't have to listen to her))
"She needs to be near her temple. Energy from the prayers of her followers will give her strength," said Apollo.
"If he gets back to the Underworld, he can reverse anything that you do to him," Apollo reminded her.
"I'm just not willing to gamble my sister's life on the fact that Hades isn't very bright," explained Apollo.
"Then why don't we let her just marry him?" asked Apollo, "knowing Ari, she'll be rid of him by the end of her first hour awake," suggested Apollo.
"You're the Goddess of Marriage, Hera. You can make sure that he doesn't trick her while they're married," said Apollo.
Apollo looked at Artemis, she looked so much sweeter and nicer when she was sleeping, "She's strong, Hera. Stronger than I'll ever be. The only proper way for us to break the curse is for her to marry Hades. Anything else and she might not fully recover. She won't be the same Artemis. She won't all be here," said Apollo mournfully.
"I can't leave yet," said Apollo, very sad, "I need some more time with her. What if everything goes wrong?"
