Why I wrote '199 ways to please God'

I've been an environmentalist since a youngster (funny, my dad was in the oil business) and grew up a bit of a global nomad. After graduating from university and finding my first job in yet another country, I started a second Masters as needed my brain to be busy as couldn't think any more of why I was here, our purpose in life, why I was so interested in the environment. Ended up bumping into Islam and gobsmacked about green message (see my blog on www.greencreation.info), so ultimately converted to Islam. As I didn't think there was enough information on Islamic view on environment, plus urgency to get all people of faith on board, I thought I'd make an effort. To be honest, as an author it's also been a GREAT opportunity to learn lots.
